With no oil to go to China, not sure what Russia has to do with it, China won't even care that much. Alliances with China and Russia are pragmatic affairs only.

I don't know the response but I think there's a good chance that tankers begin to pass sooner rather than later. If that island gets blown up or taken over, it basically cripples Iran, gives China, Russia and India big headaches.

I think Iran is trying to de-escalate with no attacks, I believe , in the last 24 hours in the strait, letting a Turkish ship pass and opening Comms with Europe about the strait. I believe they may be very worried. I just wish DJT would realise there is a very narrow window being opened here for resolution.
