I think once it's done from the US then they will get Israel to stop. The president has advisors who are against this conflict but he just needs to listen to them.

I can see mandated commercial strategic reserves having price caps related to cost and storage on them now tbh given this whole thing. Does anyone know if they just release this stuff onto the market? If they separated the market and sold this stuff at lower prices, that would give SOME control.

Lee, this is exactly it. It's not like it was just one thing, with poor planning. It's everything. I'm a big fan of the US; I often defend it to others, and the spending issue on NATO is a valid one, which I've thought was wrong for a while, and the support given to Ukraine was vital.

I'd be more than happy to personally say action against Iran should be supported by this country, but they arrogantly tried to implement a poor strategy of doing it. Advance notice with plans to minimise disruption and build reserves with everything coordinated with your allies, and this would have been a roaring success.

Apparently, not wanting to go into a narrow body of water with no escape and belligerents is cowardice according to the president, as he lambasts NATO. This guy. What will he remember? Remember, reading between the lines, that the US said their objectives were different. That says to me, if you think they are talking sense, that the US objectives are met.

1. Destroy Iran's uranium enrichment capabilities

2. Destroy their ballistic missile manufacturing capabilities

3. Create the conditions for the people of Iran to change the regime, if they want to basically.

He explicitly said 1 and 2 are done. He also said he won't strike oil and gas fields, which is probably why prices are sliding.

Objectives 1 and 2 explicitly completed. 3 is hazy, but it feels like it's an out.
