Things may improve - as you say over time... but work to be done in the next few days / weeks? Having shelved our (supposed) star asset, we now only have two assets worthy of mention... neither of which have any PROVEN value and or planning submitted.

The only thing that can realistically happen within the next few weeks is planning will "hopefully" be submitted... then we sit... and wait... AND WAIT...

Unless Lucan has a miracle up his sleeve... this share really is dead until January next year at the earliest... and we all know what that means on AIM?

I'm hardly contradicting myself here. We don't know the facts which makes any "further" investment in ANGS right now: Very High Risk...

The only factual information we have to go on is the truly despicable manner in which PI's have (to date) been treated by this BOD... so I would say that ON BALANCE:

Be afraid... be VERY afraid (to invest here right now).

Look at the current buys and sells... a few hundred thousand... haven't even broken 1 million trades. That's what the market and investors think of ANGS right now.

Zero trust = zero value

There will always be day-traders - in and out faster than you can say LUCAN! And the MM's will facilitate to generate some income for themselves...

As for consistent steady growth in SP - not until we know THE TRUTH and learn just how our BOD expect to generate future potential from two prospects which are not even at the planning stage yet!

I agree with Adam that the MM's have been complicit here in crashing the SP... but so too have our BOD!

Why on Earth any "sane" investor would buy back in here now - until ALL THE FACTS are made available to us PI's, I do not know!!!

For all anyone here knows, Lucan could be preparing to land his next bombshell and the company could fold before the year end...

We just do not know what on earth is going on at ANGS - Very High Risk - until facts are known (and independently verified... because there can be ZERO trust in anything that emerges from Lucan's mouth right now!)

I "strongly" believe the MM's naked shorted this stock from 15p down to the placing (knowing in advance and assisting in the placing. Those that took up those shares were themselves shorting to make money).
Rules are simply there to be broken on AIM and will continue to be broken until the FSA are truly independent and have a full set of functioning teeth.

Quite clearly a discrepancy between what shareholders were informed was gong to happen and what "actually" appears to have been requested via the relevant authorities.

Unsurprising that you have uncovered yet more "slight of hand" by our BOD. Where were our Nomad and the FSA looking I wonder... maybe now they'll have something more concrete to focus on?

I suggest you read the RNS more carefully! They are not EVEN submitting planning until August... so Balcombe is - earliest - next year... not 2 months away!!!!! It takes a minimum of 4 months for the CC to rule... and they've NEVER met that deadline in all the time I've been investing (20+ years)!

The Saltfleetby gas play hasn't even got a date for submission of plans... no mains connection and no proof of commerciality. That one REALLY IS a long term (jam tomorrow) play!!!!!

It's a bit premature to buy in for Balcombe DHC...

Even then, we will not hear back from the county council before December - even at the earliest - and that's if there aren't any objections / further questions or requests for additional detail (very likely). IMHO: January / February next year before we are even able to start to assess the well. March before Lucan decides it's not worth it due to water issues (AGAIN) which they have already flagged up.

Will ANGS still be around then.... I expect not.

I suspect you bought very recently on the hope of a spike to trade out, but now find yourself underwater like the rest of us LTH's (although not to such a degree) ... welcome to the club anyway :-(

With main market companies... I would agree with you: that you just need to add to the bottom drawer... and fingers crossed they come good in time, but with AIM companies... NO WAY.... far too high risk to expect they will come good at a later date.

Fact: Most AIM companies lose 80% of their value over time and go bust!

The only logical reason for investing in AIM companies is in the likelihood of them fulfilling their strategies to timescale and budget... Shareholders and the BOD have to establish a bond of trust to achieve this.

But - as in ANGS case - after multiple broken promises... that "likelihood" of success turns into a likelihood of total failure - which translates to a total loss of investment for any remaining shareholders. Sitting and waiting until next year to see what happens should only be an option if you can afford to lose all.

Fail to fulfill on your promises once and the SP will fall back and shareholders will become wary & suspicious.

Fail to fulfill on your promises twice and the SP will deteriorate further and some shareholders will cry wolf and rightfully sell out and leave.

Fail to fulfill your promises a third time and the SP will find itself in a permanent nose-dive as LTH's gradually sell up and move on - whilst new investors and the market refuse to invest since all trust and confidence is lost for good!

The SP is NOT oversold... In fact it is IMHO still an all "too generous" reflection of the current value - given the shockingly bad management, and poor shareholder and market trust that remains here.
Sub 1P wold still be "very" generous unless Lucan knows something we still don't? (other than yet more jam tomorrow promises that is!)

NOTHING in our portfolio now has planning approval (both Saltfleetby and Balcombe plans haven't EVEN been submitted yet... so NOTHING until next year then based on past experience - since "very little" moves slower than a county councilor - especially when dealing with cowboy operators!!!!!!!)

Share investments have to be based on the credibility of the management team to actually DELIVER.

And whilst this management team have shown themselves to be inept and deceitful in the past, since December last year they have seemingly gorged themselves on whatever morsels of credibility this company had left.

Gas and hot air is all the conference call will deliver.

The only question I want answering at the conference call is this:

Is the FURTHER 90% of shareholder value that has been wiped off the table since December as a result of "deliberately bad" or "genuinely inept" management?
