You only "ever" turn up on AIM shares after there has been a massive drop... clearly you day trade - have already bought in today at the low and want others to join you so you can sell out at a profit within the shortest time-frame possible.

Each to their own investmnet strategy, but "for the record" I was an LTH here until Friday. Sold out at a huge loss. Naturally, I am bitter about the whole debacle and "seriously" would not wish this investment on any new unsuspecting soul who thinks they can profit from the fall so far.

I stuck it out when it dropped from 19p to 12p, then 6, 5, 4 and now 1p+ Where does it all end?

In tears & suspension is my honest belief!

Why?

Because management have NIL trust left and NIL management ability (judging solely on their record to date) The Market will not trust them anymore & investors cannot hope to trust them anymore either!

Seems Lucan and co have been "trying" to hemorrhage share value since the start of the year and have done a steriling job so far!

Sadly,
both the RNS's from UKOG and ANGS yesterday confirm the case that the Kim is not playing ball... and since fracking is not an option... we are planning on selling off and abandoning our project and UKOG are concentrating on their Portland traditional play instead.

That leaves ANGS with an impressive & expensive list of disasters and one small glimmer of hope on the "far" distant horizon which is a gas play in the North of England.

After all that has happened to date... If anyone seriously believes this BOD are capable of achieving ANYTHING which will ADD shareholder value here, they need their heads testing!

"The law of averages" stays that we are due GOOD NEWS at some stage... But with this share (and the management team in control) I somehow doubt it!

Jam tomorrow gas projects might have caused excitement a few years ago (back when ANGS still retained shareholder trust) but won't cut it with "rightfully" sceptical investors anymore.

Only PROVEN oil out of the ground will budge the SP now!

Every word you've said is TRUE CarlThat... only you failed to mention II's shorting and MM's naked shorting... I agree: no PI will ever influence the direction of the SP

I only know what went on then and "still" goes on now. I hasten to add that none of this is against the rules... and "even if it were" it would be impossible to prove otherwise... and with the FSA at the helm... nobody cares less anyway.

Well.... if the SP continues to go UP for as long as it's been driven down! (and by the same percentage) I will be a happy chappy :-)

My bet is a long shot:

1) Clearly there is proven value in our acreage.
2) Slovenia are deliberately refusing to issue permits at the behest of Russia.

If this is true, then the plan was probably to kill the SP and fold the company to enable a Russian outfit to buy our assets privately on the cheap. Now at all time lows... a Russian takeover would kill off any legal action we start and still acquire our assets at a bargain basement price. If someone or several companies start to build a stake here quietly in the coming weeks and months... then I would hazard a guess that my assumption is correct!

Well looks like the arse has dropped out of ars... so I expect SB will be back here any time soon... wishing he'd never left in the first place ;-)

Mine too... and given the SP decline of them ALL over the past two years... there is every justification to be thoroughly p*ssed off here and elsewhere!

Whilst I have my reservations about management sense of urgency and have "repeatedly" revised my time-frame to delivery of "any" significant shareholder value here as a consequence... I remain an LTH because I believe that Amer's acreage and future prospects are without question: very very VERY compelling!

The current SP is a joke - given how we have progressed. And when Mr Market "finally" decides that resources stocks are way way way undervalued as a whole... you can bet your bottom dollar that the stock pickers will be cherry-picking and promoting a stock like AMER ahead of the rest!

Just got to sit it out and wait for the thunderbolt to strike IMHO!

If he "genuinely" sold here to buy into ARS then I strongly suggest SB is NOT one to be watching for investment advice... he's clearly as clueless as the rest of the herd I would suggest! :-(

Shows just how bad this investment has been when folk are getting excited about a 21% rise which still doesn't even get us back to the last LOW placing price!

It's a start... and a welcome one at that... but let's not get too carried away...

We STILL have Everest to climb here (unless you're a day trader of course - in which case as Rxdav and Scarface rightfully point out: you'll already be gone before the weekend... close the door on the way out!)

Sadly, same old same old AIM story!

IMHO: Shorters were all over this (expecting failure or further delay) and MM's are "currently" allowing them to get out... at the expense of LTH's as usual.

It's got to rise EVENTUALLY... but it's not going to be the FOIL news SP ROCKET most were expecting... it never is on AIM these days :-(
