I still have a small amount here in my ISA... with a high average I haven't a hope in hell of ever reaching again... but I would be prepared to add more to significantly reduce that average if I felt there were some near term news flow that might negate another cash call (inevitable by year end as things stand IMHO)

If Lucan began investing his own money here, I would take that as a positive sign too.

As for price... I really don't know. 1.3 may be the bottom for now, but unless we can get some revenue in before "the next few months" (as Lucan alluded to) then the next placing HAS to be lower than the current SP... and MM's will drop to the new low when that happens - regardless of the value of the placing.

The only short-term potential money earner I can see is a sale of Brockham or a tie-in with UKOG. Unfortunately - given what they've told us about Brockham - they have in effect said this has zero value!?!?! So they will be damned if they come back and tell us they were wrong and Bockham is now valuable after all, and they will be damned if it proves to be worthless (and very costly to shut down)!

Lots of BIG question marks which on AIM could easily herald 1p or below....

I went the extra mile on the takeover of Imagination Tech and - for long enough - the SP was "even" below the actual offer price! (MM's and others spreading false rumours of the bid failing to get PI's to sell out on the cheap - before the takeover went through of course.)

We're bound to see the same scams here before the deal is done. Sit tight and ignore the noise.

Think there would be a healthy spike on any big BOD buy-ins right now. Lucan needs to send a clear message - after what has happened here in the past - that he has confidence in his own plans going forward. Sadly until he buys... the message is that this could go lower yet...

Thought I would change the title of the last long thread for something more fitting.

After all we have so far bought Saltfleetby and submitted the first of many plans for re connection... it's hardly excellent progress since it will take at least 9 months (if all goes to plan) for shareholders to learn if ANGS have or have not c*cked up again.

So whilst we're all waiting: Mr Lucan WHERE IS YOUR BUY-IN? I thought you told us Saltfleetby was worth 4p alone... IF SO... shouldn't you and your mates be filling up here at this SP??????

Always seemed to me that the MM's were determined to keep this below 2p - so that the warrants expired... Were they banking on another cash call below 2p to enable them to close out their naked short... I wonder?

Seems mighty suspicious we haven't got above 2p on the latest RNS news - would of expected us to have hit 2.5p and held above this at least!

At this juncture in time - it would make far more sense for ANGS to merge with UKOG IMHO.

Cut down on duplicated man-power and overheads and merge financial resources - so the BOD's can FINALLY create value for shareholders - instead of for themselves!

What any good BB should do is offer a range of views... and we certainly have a healthy cross section here. So let me ask if negative and positive posters alike can agree on at least these two basic principles:

1) ANGS suffers from seriously damaged shareholder trust in our BOD. Buy-in's by Lucan and others and getting rid of Tidswell would IMHO be the best RNS news we could get right now to begin the long journey of rebuilding that trust. Can we agree on this?

2) Most LTH's and new speculative traders are banking on short term gains here - either to reduce their existing losses, or to take advantage by day trading in and out. Either way.. any positive sentiment is clearly VERY short-term as a consequence of a lack of faith in the BOD to deliver on longer term goals (which they have so far always failed to achieve). We need a fully outlined short term strategy by our BOD to explain how they intend to rebuild company value. Can we agree here?

I agree with E_AL... a trader's paradise "potentially" as there will inevitably be small spikes on news flow... but mid to long term... not a hope in Hell :-(

C) It's a dodgy deal that will end up costing "yet" more money for ANGS shareholders... after a prolonged hiatus as they try "yet again" to prove their theory correct at our expense?

I'm going for C... and on past experience with this company... I would say "C" is a VERY SAFE BET.

Only this time around: the BOD can tell pork pies for as long as they like... only we are all that bit wiser and more skeptical... and know not to trust a word they say.

Let them invest THEIR OWN MONEY FIRST...shouldn't be a problem if this is such a bargain ( as Lucan suggests) should it?

Honestly, I (for one) have asked pretty much the same questions myself in the past. You'll find similar posts if you trawl back through my history to the earlier days on GGP and PYC especially.

I honestly believed back then that those posting negatives about companies were mostly Trolls (nothing better to do) or swing traders (changing their tune dependent upon being invested or not)

Whilst there are a small number of folk like that. In truth I now know that most negative posters (myself included) are simply jaded LTH's who feel they have been sh*fted by dishonest BOD's and - finding themselves heavily underwater - get sick and tired of other folk rubbing salt into their wounds by suggesting we should forget, forgive and move on... as if by magic the leopards in charge are somehow going to change their spots!!!!

It wouldn't be so bad, if it were not for the regurgitation of the same old tired lies - us long-termer's - have been listening to since the year dot! Having suffered personally - we just want to put the world straight that's all.

Having been lured in myself by the rampers years ago into investing in crap companies, you'll find - as I have - that the most dangerous voices here are not the realists (negative posters) but the hyper positive - "don't want to be out of this over the weekend" brigade...

unless of course you are a day trader in which case - I agree - folk like me can sometimes be an unwanted distraction ;-)

Pity Lucan wasn't prepared to put that in writing in an RNS. As we are all NOW aware... the last RNS said "fully funded for forthcoming months."

When a placing happens... rest assured, Lucan will refer shareholders to the RNS (written) or - as the recording says - tell us he wants the money for a great value adding deal for shareholders (i.e: to fund operations to reconnect Saltfleetby perhaps?) Either way... it's more dilution for already badly treated shareholders until we get something IN WRITING to say otherwise.

I don't call taking up cheap options having skin in the game and aligning yourself with investors. Any BOD can greedily milk their share options... but it's a clear sign they don't believe their own hot air, if they don't invest their own hard earned - like the rest of us.

"Forthcoming months" - allows the BOD plenty of latitude for another placing before year end IMHO.

And given that both our jam tomorrow (Saltfleetby / Balcombe) assets have a long journey through planning ahead of them... it's placing before "proven" profit time (AGAIN) here at good old ANGS!!!!!!

According to Lucan, Saltfleetby is worth 4p on its own!!!!! You would have thought that he, the BOD, city mates & their friends and family would be forming an orderly queue around the block to buy in here... So why aren't they?
