I agree with you napthman1. The problem - and frustration - with that, of course, is that even if the next drill results are outstanding they will still only get us to 0.975. And no further. AGAIN.

It IS annoying. As I've said before, I'm wondering which will come first... UFO crawling over 1p (and staying there!) or Nicola Sturgeon cracking a smile.

It's obvious, repwhatusow, these are traders. There's no need to be incredulous. 10% and that's their aim (no pun intended) achieved. It is, of course, very frustrating that this always weighs down any sustained rise, even reverses it, and frustrates those of us who would like - eventually - to see 100% or 1000%.

I've set a personal target date to get out if this is still sub-1p, and that is 2028, which lines up with a 'significant birthday' of mine. If we are still slipping and sliding up and down under 1p by then I am going to be seriously disgruntled, and I think I'll just hand my shares over to a dog's home. With my luck, chances are the dawgs will all be sipping champagne in 2029 :)

I do get a bit irritated by people who say they WANT the share price to tumble, so they can "top up". They keep saying this. Week after week. Month after month. Every time the price has a little rise, they want it to slide again. So they can "top up". It strikes me that "topping up" becomes the be all and end all. And they'll be happy to go to their grave, still "topping up".

Yes, it is sad , ibmibm. When you've seen it before, and before, and before, and before, you can't help feeling pessimistically resigned to the remorseless drift downwards starting all over again :(

I don't really understand why the "markets" should be unimpressed. Like they'd be rocked for six by the news that Christmas was going to be falling on 25th December? It was always there in the calendar.

Yes, I do get everything that people are telling me about patience. Believe me, I'm not a "fast bucker". I have been in explorers since 2009. But, in reply to my original point, if in the case of UFO you're telling me it's likely to take another three to five years to break 1p, that really is pushing patience to the limit.

Slim, I'm sad to say I'm with you on this. I'm afraid people will still be topping up when this is sub-0.50, and quite possibly sub-0.40, in the not too distant future, failing something big and positive happening PDQ.

Hello again, Eck, interested in you line "I need the cash". The 'wise heads' always say "Never invest what you can't afford to lose". But is it fair to apply that maxim to a share like this one? I think not. Who can say in 2010 what their situation is likely to be in 2021, and what they might need the money for then? This is very pertinent to myself. I am currently house-hunting. If SGZ had performed even reasonably well over the past decade, I could now be looking at property in a much higher price band than that which I can afford for what, at my age, will very likely be my last home.

I'm always amused by predictions - not just with this company - of the forthcoming "Mother of all RNS's". Personally, I'd be satisfied with the "Hen's Teeth of RNS's"... the one that makes the share price go up rather than down :).

Dear Eck, you and I have run just about in parallel for so many years. So many of our posts have been endorsed by each other, and none more so than yours today. I wear your experience like a glove. I too missed the October 2020 spike, believing from everything that we had been told by the CEO that there were even better things to come. And, like you, I have sadly concluded that with these shares there is little to be gained from the loyalty of just holding and holding and holding. It has been a bitter lesson, learning that everywhere on AIM - even here in a company we all actually held quite dear to our hearts - fortune favours the ruthless traders and not the patient 'old lags'. I am out of SGZ now, though I look in here from time to time and, like you, I may well return - and maybe not too far into the future. I continue to hope that one day Miss Wemyss may get her new rosewood harmonium and Champion a gold-encrusted halter. I do hope that you and I will exchange experience and pleasantries on this board once again (because it has been the pleasantness of the board which has always compensated for the frustrations of this company). If I had a fiver for every time someone said "all you need is patience" on these boards, I'd be in the multi-millionaire bracket.

Think I'll hold off topping up till this gets beyond the 0.65 mark we made before. Looking that way. Maybe 0.50?
