Total voting rights: 214,742,418 shares

From the filings:

Octabus Investments … 37,337,822 shares
J&C Baillie ………………8,214,102 shares
P. Pindar …………………16,527,126 shares
Eve BOD ………………….6,492,246 shares

Gives a total of 68,571,296 shares or 24.96%

There are still 206,171,122 shares with smaller investors. The 10 working days within which holders of 1% or more have to file are up today, so there maybe more filings on Monday. Would love to see a few more 8.3s.

Current MCap (at 0.875p) is £2.4 mil which could be less than cash in hand.

Bid back down to 2.10p … again and volume is relatively large, hopefully the last of the sells at this level.

This SP level so far has exhibited strong support and is likely to rebound soon. In my opinion, good add opportunity.

I recently added £10k worth at 2.40/2.50p and I wish I waited. Now no more spare cash to add at this excellent top up level :(

Not pulling the advert is a good sign for business “as usual” and hopefully a TU soon, sooner than last year I hope.

Thinking about it again, I don’t believe that if no buyer is found Eve will definitely fold up.

They can survive if they give up on France and Belgium and concentrate on UK&I for now. They are very close to profitability here and will not require too much of a cash injection to make them profitable. Revenue may drop but so what if they are turning a profit?

Last year we had a TU in July with an RNS in June (28th).

I wonder, will we get a TU at thev same time this year? The FSP should not stop business for proceeding as normal. If the cash position is not as bad as feared it may ease worries and help the SP a little.

I am disappointed the cash position was not disclosed with the update in the for sale RNS. Made things worse.

Morning all, I don’t know how tax loss transfer works but I am confident that if there was merit in it EVE would have included it in the FSP prospectus.

On a different note, looking at recent trading it suggests to me that major shareholders (in this case shareholders with holdings greater than 1%) are bailing out before the 10 working day deadline within which they must declare via Form 8.3. I expect the SP will remain below 1p until the end of this week when the deadline expires this coming Friday. Anybody still holding more than 1% on Monday must file at 8.3.

Hopefully, from next week after these people bail out we will see the SP moving up a bit but I am disappointed we only saw two 8.3s (1 x II & 1 x PI), it indicates no retail investor confidence in the FSP. Very poor sentiment and confidence in finding a buyer, else we would have seen a few 8.3s filed.

Still … a buyer could be found but is worrying.

Geeman, that first post was a good thought provoking post. I like your sale for a £1 scenario, is a credible possibility. I would prefer a proper bid though, and hopefully a bidding war (wishful thinking) :)

When things are not going well it turns to posters attacking each other, happens on other stock boards too.

Greg, I have been on this board for a few years now and I assure you, Geeman is Geeman and Wyn is Wyn, two separate people that always posted consistently.

No need to get annoyed with posters, we are here because of not what anyone one of us has posted here but because of the way CC has performed. We have gone from:

- Sustainable profitability in 2020, to
- Breakeven in 2022 and only for UK&I), to
- Now being up for sale and facing possible administration

Very annoying and in my case costed me dearly (German’s case too). I wish I sold (like Wyn did) rather than adding and averaging down.

We are were we are now (only myself to blame) and hoping for a miracle - a buyer to appear. Fingers crossed.

I added a few more yesterday on the drop, all my spare cash now went in to EOG.. The whole market is down providing a top up opportunity.

I don’t believe it will drop any lower, this level held since the placing was announced weeks ago and also Serenity news are due, drill 2 to 3 months away.

Is worth passing this tax point to CC for consideration, nothing to loose and something to gain. If it is a valid point she will include it in the prospectus. Anybody with a line to CC?

CFAN, that is an excellent point, thanks.

So, DFS is not likely to take us over. The only hope is one of the other mattress manufacturers, Ema,etc. and with the current economic climate it maybe to their interest to do so; expand client base whilst reducing costs. Likely to be an all share offer though if it happens.

Geeman, thanks mate, not good but there should be enough for another 3 or 4 months at least.

Anybody knows what the declared cash position was and at what date?

In my opinion, there are still a lot of big holders (greater than 1%) running for the exit and that is why we are stuck at 1p.

They have ten days to file an 8.3 form and are holding filing until they clear out. We should have seen more 8.3s by now from those who intend on holding, there should be a few holders of 2.75 million (1%) shares or more.

I think the SP is going to get stuck at 1p until further news … hopefully a buyer.

Last year we had a TU on 16 July. This teaser I hope we get a proper TU sooner than that considering what’s happening. The last RNS mentioned a trading update but it wasn’t a trading update.

DGU, we are too small to effect a change, it needs shareholders like Octabus to do that. All we can do is wait and hope.
