The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the tech. Trek made a good point re the comms. The company could do more. I guess they don't want to. Or need to. I don't know the MRI space - maybe there is nothing to be gained by raising capital and hiring a powerful sales/marketing team. This is the pace they are working at - for now - they must have their reasons.
It might effectively end up as a transfer of resources from PI's to RFO, the BOD (who will get their share) and eventual JV partner. This does finally break the hold a small group of PI's had if/when they were acting to buy and sell in concert. And the fact that some of them are missing makes me more certain that is exactly what was going on in the past. But this is very challenging for LTHs. Its not a given that LTH's will lose out on any eventual prize - but there must be some doubt about that. And that doubt should be priced in. I'm still not topping up.
The Siemens shares are still being sold? I haven't been counting. Also interesting that people are buying when a fundraise is considered a cert. A few threads too unravel.
Interviews? There was a director's talk a little while ago - he was going on about KPs and targets - seemed pretty credible. If I can find the link I'll repost it.
Financing - Its beyond me. I don't even understand the previous funding RNS re the CLNs and all the details re dates etc. And now I have to try and work out how 'capital restructuring' will affect everything and impact on the next set of CLNs - or however the next placing/fund-raise is sorted out. I'm not in the 'EISB is going to de-list' school - or at least not at the moment - they seem to have supporters who will bankroll them - I'm just not sure I want to buy any stock until we see the what the fundraise looks like and see how the market reacts. Having said that I like to gamble and I don't have a brain so I will pick up a number out of a hat...eg..0.32 and if the sp reaches 0.32 I'll buy a few.
2.3? I was thinking 2.5. But just a guess.
We should try not to get carried away by other people's so predictions - look at the accounts - last time I tried to get my head around that stuff (and I need to do some 'how to read a balance sheet tutorials') I don't think this company was exactly drowning in profit. I bet that explains a lot.
Dan
re the placing at 1.10 - think most of those shares were moved on within a few days - on that day last with about 20 million volume. If those are gone then the company doesn't owe anyone with money any favors - so the next fundraise can be a lot lower. The question is at what price - we have seen some shocking haircuts on other shares - could be anything from 0.2 to 0.6. I haven't even got my head around the RNS's to know exactly what kind of raise we can expect CLNs etc.
Yeah DGI looks like the 'real deal'. Going to need more £. I'm still pouring over the interviews and the RNS's - haven't finished joining all the dots but I wouldn't be surprised to see a fundraise AND I wouldn't be surprised to see one that knocks the confidence of PIs and transfer shares to powerful US backers - if this tech is what they say it is, there must be some US players wanting to take a piece of the action. So buy carefully and hold tight.
Placing on the 24th - 29 million shares
31st jan volume 21 million shares
so about 8 million left is that is how things go. does that mean todays' RNS will see off the last batch? and then edge towards the next raise. be interesting to see how the balance between sp and news plays out between now and then.
Re the last RNS but one...
"The Agreement, which includes funding to the Company..."
Shame they couldn't give us a more 'factual' breakdown of the actual funding. And how much dgi have to cough up at their end. Its obvious this company is going places though.
Can we keep on eye on certain X/Twitter posters. I'm sure one of them will be offered the placing. I'm not often on X so if anyone can pick something up and share it that would be good. We may have to read between the lines.
