I don't understand how on sale seats can be 8% ahead of last year yet caution about people booking later.

Obviously 8% have booked earlier than last year.

Our Costa hotels are booked for the summer until week 3 September.

The later booking has been a feature the last two years but demand is very strong. The market doesn't like what looks like strong results. The same has happened to easyJet many times recently.

It's a strange response but we have to expect it as it's an established trend.

These things are a problem in the peak season.

Hotels are at capacity, the sun shines every day. What's not to like.

Pokerchips indeed it us a stupid comment. How can easyJet have every flight originate in the UK with UK based crews. What about the thousands of flights from Spain to destinations that are not the UK.

Easyjet will have to real with multiple unions across Europe, it's just how it is. The alternative is yo give all the leverage to one union In the UK.

Largely the problem here in Spain with the air crew is the country is booming. New industry everywhere. Wages have always been low but now they are starting to rise and they can see opportunities elsewhere for more money.

We have increased our wages by around 8% this year and that's quite normal. It's hard to recruit locally even with good wages. We offer live in accomodation to get good people and have many in rented villas near to the hotels.

This is just ongoing. It's nothing new, the last buyback of the old tranche was the day before and there's one everyday. BAE is awash with cash and they invest heavily in R&D in response to almost daily contract wins.

This company is in a very healthy financial position and they return to shareholders through 2 dividends and share buybacks.

They flagged the 15 to 20% jump and haven't flagged anything this year so 20% is most likely so 14p a share or so. That's probably a shade over 2%.

Q3 results will be strong in my opinion but they have delivered super results and gone down before.

Profit Q3 will be £310-320m.

If you wait for the dividend then sell you'll gain nothing.

The value of the dividend is baked in and it's going to be modest as we know.

Easyjet flights are mainly full, certainly in and out of Málaga where I am. I always ask the easyjet holidays guests and they are full through most of the year.

The important factor though is the ticket price. The fare model is built around demand.

Currently demand is robust, we are all but sold out now until 3rd week in September then availability is very limted until Christmas. Q1 26 is behind 25 by 3% on volume but prices are +4%. We have added only 48 rooms to our capacity for 2026.

Traditionally the summer hasn't been good for BAE but we have a good idea that H1 is going to be strong, that reports in 4 weeks. Sales and contracts are strong and this is a hot sector.

I think that we'll see £18-21 through this time.

FX is a challenge with 45% of the business in the US.

There is no "free of charge" clearly the ticket price will just go up by the amount of the hand luggage but everyone will pay it.

On a practical level there isn't enough overhead locker space for every seat to have a bag and not enough hold space to put it there.

Ultimately very little will change except the way they present the flight.

This is to appease Spain and ultimately it makes no difference to the airlines as it will affect all, travel is a priority item for most people

Riche if that happened then everyone would have a higher headline price then the airline would refund for people who don't have luggage. The aircraft are configured with hold space for around 40% of the seats.

They would have to remove 10% of the seats and the fares will go up.

The current method is absolutely fair because you only pay for what you need.

The overriding view of Europe is that it for the airline to determine the most competitive model for their business.

To go back to the 1980s with luggage in the ticket price will increase fares across the board and easyJet would do very nicely out of it.

Oil is up today and easyJet is down so that makes some sense.

Of course if easyjet didn't rush to hedge at a high price it is irrelevant. On a daily basis they buy almost no fuel at spot
