Jet2 can't increase in response to demand. The only restriction on easyjet holidays is bed space and they have a very broad hospitality profile.

easyJet holidays will add 40% this year. That type of growth at Jet2 is impossible without significant investment and lead time.

Q3 will report a £250m profit. Maybe then the misleading coverage will stop.

The difference between easyJet and Jet2 are easyJet is an airline first and Jet2 are an airline by default.

Obviously easyJet has many many more flights but it illustrates the potential of easyJet holidays. They can double or triple without needing more aircraft or staff.

Jet2 growth is much tougher and will involve significant investment.

Currently I see little regard for the strong H1 performance and the way they are set up for H2. It's all about traders and that is a flimsy reality.

I think that we would all take any of those as a 12 month goal. I have added substantially at 4.80 and 4.60 so £6+ in 12 months would be very rewarding.

The market response to easyJet results was a scam. Exactly the same October 23 down 90p on good results.

This is very easy to achieve. Results delivered, massive sells in opening auction, everyone sees the drop stop losses triggered and panicked sellers drop the price. The momentum lasts a week or two.

A few rocks thrown creates a landslide and those controlling the market win, the small investors get scammed.

See it for what it is. This company is doing very well, results were strong. Right now they are making nearly £3m a day profit. They have a holiday business that's out pacing all competition and will seriously squeeze ryanair and Jet2.

H2 they will deliver around £1bn profit and pay a dividend on 20% of £650m.

Remember the incorrect headline on results morning saying that they had missed their H1 target of £340m when actually they hit dead centre on £340-360m.

That was a very powerful force and part of this deception. When that big money is ready to take it up it will and us with it.

The share price reflects many things. The fundamentals are a small part. The mood of the market, the trend, the wider economic situation of investors and external players manipulation are the bulk of the drive. The moved down on strong figures at the point of release. Once it opened down people sold.

That's not how it should be.

Currently in this quarter easyJet will be making £2.5-3m a day profit. In Q4 £8m a day profit. The results that apparently destroyed the share price were very positive especially from the holiday business and the volume of advanced bookings. Summer season 70% booked in May is very strong.

The CEO transition is a sensible move. It shows maturity and concludes a job well done.

It's important to separate the business performance from the share price. They are very out of sync.

The share price under £6 is nonsense. At £5.50 it was nonsense and £5.50 to £4.50 was just more nonsense.

The business is strong, the share performance is weak.

Ryanair compete with Vueling to Barcelona but have Sevilla to themselves. easyJet is basically UK and Germany from Malta as these are the holiday routes and the easyJet holidays sales locations.

EasyJet holidays are super competitive because the hotelier gives a great deal because of the flexibility and variety of the arrival/departure dates and times.

easyJet allocate the seats with the capacity so early in the algorithm for pricing.

Costa del Sol 4 hotels and Malta 3. Flights into Málaga and MIA.

I travel between the two every week and have to fly ryanair to Sevilla or it's a stopover. This is an example of how ryanair pick up business despite being terrible. The Malta Sevilla flight is never full.

It's important to understand the dynamic. Last year 4% of easyjet seats were easyJet holidays seats. Jet2 it's 70%. easyJet holidays has huge growth potential

I think that ryanair could be run much better by someone else. O'Leary is a liability and they have done well despite that. People have tolerated him and travel on air-pikey only when they absolutely have no choice which is often.

I think that choice is coming. The DIY holiday markets days are numbered. The flexible package holiday revolution is gaining volume. It's cheaper and more flexible than DIY including transfers and luggage. easyJet first an airline with a dense schedule are uniquely placed to deliver.

Hoteliers love it as arrivals are staggered With multiple flights every day they use it to backfill gaps.

I really like the business model. It's not the only holiday company that I deal with but I have many more easyjet guests than Jet2.
