Lots of manipulation with so few investors and so many traders. Algorithm gamblers make it worse. It's so easy to trigger a drop with easy access to shareholders through low threshold media channels. Combined with some organised trading and the price drops massively on good results.

easyJet need to take action and move their listing.

EasyJet are following the established holiday home ownership. UK residents can only stay 90 days so have to travel more. They are also moving away from Airbnb and letting privately in their home area so more travel

I suspect once they reach £7 and are paying a decent dividend we won't be selling.

It drops some of easyjet costs away from the UK and encourages some more to travel. Margins are tight and volume huge so a couple of percent can make a big difference

Easyjet holidays for July August and early September are sold out. Flights are available but expensive and the only capacity is where some hotels can add capacity. That's mainly away from the Costa

Crazy cheap share price for the commercial success of the business. It ebbs and flows whilst the company makes £3m a day profit in this quarter. Very little disruption on the horizon so far. Q3 ends in a couple of weeks then we are into prime time around £8m a day profit.

No you miss the point. It's not about if you like marmite or not. It's about guessing if other people do and then guessing when they want to eat it.

The events since results were created by an organised run on the share, for what purpose? Clearly organised money makes money and the small investors loses.

See it for what it is but the effect of this event like that of October last year will not clear in a few days.

I don't think that is true. It's all about timing. The view is short term. Minutes to hours not weeks to months to years.

The question is about now. Will they go up in the next 10 minutes.

The quality of the company, the opportunity or even the profits this year are irrelevant at the moment because nobody actually cares about that. The quality of the business is no different to yesterday or last week.

The market doesn't hate easyjet at all. The market cares about nothing but the immediate momentum.

Investors are rare gamblers are numerous. They are cowardly pack animals and never move alone or against the flow.

Once some think that others see it as cheap they will turn the chart and others will follow.

The share price is stupidly cheap but that's not going to change by it going up for a week or two.

Relax and let the trend establish

It's not dropping though. It's exactly the same as October 23. It will trend up but only because over time the rises will be more numerous than the falls.

The market will ebb and flow and that's just traders. The trend will establish over the coming weeks.

Yes of course it's PaT but it is exactly the same as last year. However it's double last year and on an increased profit.

This year the profit will be £650m+ and 20% of that will be the dividend.

There are a lot of forces at play here and we can definitely expect pull backs just like October last year.

Just because it's crazy undervalue doesn't mean that it will correct.

Ultimately it will trend up and £6 really should be the short term target but the trading risk mentality will make it a bumpy curve.

We saw in October last year that despite the unnatural events lifting that recovery wasn't without setbacks. It will trend up likely to £6+ in my opinion but confidence will start weak.

If we see this for what it was an organised event crushing the share price. It's either over for now or they have their fill at the expense of weak hands and want to take profits at much higher levels.

Investors wouldn't but traders would if they thought that it may dip before rising or if the increase doesn't fall within their timeframe.

Next update will show a £250m profit and a full summer season through to mid September.

Stumpy surely the question should be what was behind the drop after the positive H1 results. The whole thing just like October 23 was the most obvious scam.

Now they let it go until the next time. It will go above £6 in quick time in my opinion

The drop after results like October 23 was due to outside forces. Nothing to do with the results or anything affecting easyJet. Big money controls the price, play their game. Now they let it rise. At some point beyond £6 the bases will be loaded again for round 3

Whilst TUI as a group are doing ok it must be stressed that they don't perform well. Given that they are 400 hotels, 16 cruise ships, 130 aircraft and 1200 travel agencies. Ultimately the platform depends upon success at every level within the group.

By contrast this year easyjet will make around £650m just from the airline and the holidays as a bolt on. When it comes to risk and profitability I would vote easyJet every time over TUI.

Easyjet will eat a big chunk of TUI as TUI are inflexible with duration and departure points, times and days.

Easyjet are uniquely placed as they have 100m seats to expand into. The German holiday business is starting small from nothing but definitely has market traction. The aircraft fly regardless south from Germany but some of those seats are easyJet holidays seats.

The UK south routes are the bulk of the capacity over the summer. Malta has additional flights from Liverpool and many people now come into the holidays catchment.

The DIY holiday is dieing Airbnb is generally accepted as a rip off and UK people are not confident enough to find local accommodation directly. Then there's transfers or hire cars.... Easyjet holidays has timed their growth perfectly.

I live in Spain too. Costa del Sol and it's definitely going to be the biggest for many years. Covid changed priorities and holidays are above consumables for most people. We are seeing a move away from the DIY holiday back to the package. easyJet holidays leads because they are packages but with DIY convenience. Multiple routes into Málaga this summer with easyJet and Vueling dominate.

It should be £6 now. The good H1 results were met with an organised campaign with sells before the bell opening down and several misleading media reports.

£6 makes little sense short term.
