In a reply to Consuela of all people, someone who clearly hasn't watched the presentation. So now you are essentially taking a response to a troll post and attacking it, and now I'm attacking that post because you leave me no option.

I was clearly talking about the presentation last night. We all know JW's estimates on dates for financial closure have been so far off it's laughable, but that's not what my comment was about.

Can we have less of this constant bickering on these boards over every little thing? It seems people are so frustrated with the share price performance as a result of these missed self imposed timeframes that most people have just taken to attacking each other. Certainly you aren't the worst at it, but this board has become a cesspit since the 2022 results were released and seems to get worse with each passing week.

Don't forget the LOI is due to be converted to an actual contract "within the next few weeks" as of September 8th. That would be end of next week if taken literally, throw in the JW delay and we should get it by mid October. Might be enough to stop it from dripping too much.

Fair play to them if it works out. In my view the time to be trading out for a cheaper entry has passed a couple of weeks ago, it isn't going to drop much beyond the current level.

As I said elsewhere today I am glad that the IM decision isn't imminent. Without finance being sorted it would just be a trader spike the same way the JR result was. Get finance sorted first and then news like that will drive value. 2024 is the real turn around year here.

Volumes will likely fall off a cliff until finance is signed once the impatient finish selling.

None of it was fresh news, a lot of which was announced in the results on the 8th. The presentation was adding more meat to the bones and clearing up some concerns.

I suspect the one or two who sold today were planning to sell regardless, hoping for a bit of a bounce after the presentation.

I still believe JW gave a good presentation yesterday, detailed on every aspect including cashflow and finance. But until the deal is signed the risk remains and people will hold off buying. Meanwhile the shorter crew will continue spreading FUD.

The share price will remain depressed until the finance is sorted, as it's the only thing that matters in the short term. I actually don't want to hear any news on IM until after finance is sorted because if we do it will be traded and sold and we'll be back here.

I thought it was a decent update to reassure the market. The key is whether or not you believe JW to deliver on finance and hitting the revenue targets.

JW made a good point once again about how there's nothing to be concerned about with finance and how we'll get a good deal and the market will like it but it comes down to believing those words. Clearly some still see it as too risky until the deal is signed.

Nothing else matters until that deal is signed.

You sound like a BBC reporter who asks a question in an interview with the intention of writing an article about the response regardless of whether or not they answer the question.

JW stated we would like the finance deal and it would be worth the wait. We aren't going to like it if the wait involves dilution. So therefore he would be lying.

Besides, why the hell would you raise equity alongside a 200m loan? It makes zero sense. At most we will see some warrants, but we aren't going to see your dream of significant dilution. Get over it.

Problem with people like you is you will always be harping on about placings. JW could do one tomorrow and you'd be talking about the next one the following day. Now that your group can't continue the "UKEF will say no" nonsense you've taken to "the deal will come with dilution". Give up already.

i agree chris, very positive. lots of detail on areas people have had concerns about.

key as always is closing the debt deal but i couldn't be any less concerned about that now. i remember last week ************* all over advfn saying we don't qualify for ukef and therefore the finance deal will fail. it's not difficult to be influenced by such as a statement as fss is not an export contract but when you look at the criteria for the export development guarantee then we qualify on the m55 contract alone. therefore i expect them to say yes and the finance deal go through. patience required here.

it was interesting that they reiterated break even/1m profit for 2024. lots of talk recently about 2024 being loss making due to the broker comments. not sure what to believe on that.

lots of us here frustrated over the share price going significantly backwards following the fss win but i believe it will start to hold increases once finance is closed and the news next year will keep adding value - especially when we hear what is happening with im. 6 parties in serious discussions, this isn't going to be sold or farmed out on the cheap.

it's a growth story which requires a lot of debt to achieve its aims and then will be very profitable once it gets there.

This board has been a cesspit for as long as I have known it, and that was before FSS was even considered a contract we'd win. Unfortunately it has gotten worse in recent months, most likely down to frustration over the share price not performing anywhere near what people expected.

If I were a new investor looking at this board for information and all I see was personal attacks and garbage from people invested then I'd wonder why the share is attracting these types of individuals and move along to something else.

I don't think anyone is over excited. The only piece of news that will raise the share price here is the finance agreement.

JW has dipped in loads. I agree the other two need to dip in more than they have and show confidence.

Just had a read of that Facebook page. Seems most islanders are unhappy with the Steamship Company's plans.

Common sense would suggest a ferry built by H&W with levelling up funds and operated by Steamship Company would be the best approach for everyone.

I would have thought if it were regarding the ferries and our proposal it would be more urgent than November 9th.

I think the "120m for IM" figure comes from the April LSE interview with JW where he stated the current value of IM is estimated to be in the high double digit millions and a successful JR would push it into the triple digits. I don't know why 120m as opposed to 100m however.

How much weight should we give to that comment by JW? I'm more likely to believe him than the likes of the pond life on here who ramp for the sake of ramping, but it certainly needs another formal valuation.
