Mark Routh needs to go. That's the biggest drag on the share price currently.

The assets are still there and they are good assets. They will be even better when permits arrive. But we need a change at the top for the share price to reverse.

The CLNs are awful but they have been forward sold by people in the know in my opinion. Hence the rapid share price destruction from the 4s.

Main thing is getting MR out, nothing else matters until then.

Yeah I'm more and more seeing "investing" on AIM as gambling. No different to walking into a casino and putting it all on red. Funny enough I did that with the remains of my portfolio and got black followed by green, such is the luck I have. Must add that it was a simulator and I have no intention of doing that. This RNS on Monday is more like betting on red and black and having green turn up!

Technically it's all money I can afford to lose, but losing that much means working for longer as it all feeds into your pension at the end of the day.

Trouble is I don't even trust ETFs and indexes right now. A lot or them are massively inflated by the American tech companies and I'm of the view that it's a bubble on the verge of bursting.

This loss has certainly hit me quite hard. After suffering disasters in RMM and HARL I invested here (and PXEN) as they felt like much safer places to put money and help recover my portfolio.

The information from more experienced investors was always that ARCM is low risk because AA were contracted to spend 24 million over three years and that if this didn't happen then ARCM would still be entitled to that money. Turns out that wasn't the case and AA were able to exit quite easily with almost no money due to ARCM. The JV wasn't worth the paper it was written on.

I got the risk profile so badly wrong here I've decided I'm never touching another AIM stock and may not even invest in anything other than an ETF going forward. These penny stocks are impossible to invest in as they rarely hold a rise on good news and bad news that drops the share price by 50% can happen at any moment. I don't understand why anyone would invest in this market. The only people making money are pump and dump artists with large followings on Twitter. I don't see a path back to break even now unless PXEN goes on some wild ride and 6 bags.

I had a lucky escape with this one during the pump and dump a few months back, getting out with a 1/3 loss. I'd be more than 2/3 down had I held.

The red flags around the repeated delays to the sales agreement are what did it for me. It just screamed incompetence. It was also clear that the company wasn't making enough money to cover both operating costs and future drills and would need money from somewhere. Never thought it would be a 0.8p placing though.

I think this will be consolidated 100 to 1 at some point this year and then continue to drip down to oblivion. I wouldn't buy even at this level. Seen it all before on AIM. Hopefully shareholders aren't overweight in this.

That said, I expect this to be pumped in the coming weeks and months by those who took the placing as they will need buyers. This is what happened last year after the placing. So I could see it reaching the pre placing price as the charts come out showing the gap.

There's barely anything been sold. It's likely one or two traders trying their luck. They'll be caught out when the assays arrive.

I am confused. Two months ago Buck said the sales agreement had been agreed and it was awaiting signature by the end of February. So why has it taken two months to upload it to a server? Only now is it ready to be signed.

The possibility of a JV is a good development but no timescales mentioned.

Sales agreement expected by the end of February. That's 5 trading days after today. Surprised the market isn't piling in at this level as that news will be huge.

I think you are missing a zero there Kevin. 8000*365 is 2920000. Will be higher when production is increased.

I've heard this one before, and yet here you are exclusively posting on the MATD board. What about the dozens of other under performing shares on AIM? There's always a motive behind such behaviour.

Gusto, I actually agree completely that AIM is corrupt as hell. However I disagree that MATD is corrupt.

I think it's ridiculous that we are still waiting on the sales agreement but it is pretty much a done deal, or so we're told. The market won't believe it until it arrives. H1 I expected would start at a reduced output as that's how these things go when production starts. H2 was a shock disappointment, no getting away from that. I was led to believe it was a given like H1 due to prior testing.

I am stuck in here at a higher level but I do believe it will recover in the coming months when the sales agreement arrives and H1 output is increased. At this point I just want my money back not because I don't believe in the company but because I'm done with AIM. I don't like these 50% sharp drops that happen on bad news and 10-20% drops that happen on good news. I see this all over AIM. I want to invest in lower risk companies going forward where fundamentals matter more than sentiment.

I don't know why you are targeting this company specifically, I'm guessing you have lost money here. But the market is the problem not the company.

Gusto I used to have respect for you fighting off the trolls back in the HARL and PXEN days but these days you are insufferable and one of the trolls yourself. What went wrong?

Broomtree I don't think I ever said the suspension was a good thing. I was fully aware the finances were a mess and it had become a binary play on whether the company could secure a finance deal. I just believed the company and the government that the UKEF deal was coming, and the mistake of believing JW that even if UKEF deal fell through that there were alternatives. Maybe there were alternatives back in 2023 and the bad financial results put an end to that, who knows.

AimMaster I was invested in Capita in March 2022 at 22p. It hasn't exactly done much since then. I do regret selling RR to invest here however but that's easy to say in hindsight. AIM seems like a waste of time when you can get returns like RR and Nvidia with little risk.

Broomtree you can't invest on what others say. You have to do your own research. Every board on here is full of naysayers, you should know that. Sure listen to what they have to say. I had many a debate with shorters on ADVFN and they made valid points but my investment case was based on the idea that the government would support the company. That was reasonable given the noise from the BOD and the approval in December. Turned out I was wrong.

With £160m of debt I am no longer surprised that the UKEF application was declined. That's far higher than we were led to believe. It's beginning to sound like even the £200m loan wouldn't have been enough.

There's clearly a lot been happening in the background here that we didn't know about and that article LevsInvest posted was a good read. Unfortunately we got this one wrong and JW was the wrong man for the job.

I think the lesson to be learnt here is to never trust what a CEO says on AIM.

That seems to have been JW's strategy. Don't get your way - try to buy the company. Scilly ferries being the prime example of that. This attitude has no doubt led to a lot of money being wasted that ultimately led to the company's collapse.

Navantia obviously been waiting and praying for this situation so that they could pick up the entire FSS contract on the cheap along with the modernised Belfast shipyard. If they wanted the yards they could have made a bid for HARL at any point in the last two years since we won FSS.

The other three yards are doomed if this goes ahead. Even if they agree to buy the lot they will just shut down the other three in time.

I do agree that Russell Downs is not acting in the interests of shareholders. It was clear from the way he was appointed that he only cares about Riverstone and their debt. Odd part is Clive's offer would still see their debt paid so why aren't they entertaining it?

I won't be joining. I don't see the point. They will just repeat what was said in the RNS and I don't think they will take questions - or if they do they will be carefully selected.

This whole thing since the FSS contract award stinks of corruption.

This has no doubt been the plan ever since the FSS contract was awarded. Said many a time there were some powerful people trying to bring the company down and it eventually succeeded.

That said, it wouldn't have been possible without JW's financial mismanagement.
