“Renewables group Simec Atlantis Energy surged after tests found burning pellets made of waste could fuel a power station in Wales.

AIM-listed Simec wants to convert the former coal-powered Uskmouth plant to burn waste made from plastics and cardboard that wouldn’t be recycled otherwise.

Tests using facilities with the same conditions to those at Uskmouth found the pellets could burn continuously and generate power. Shares shot 36.4 per cent higher, up 4p, to 15p.”

Explains the recent drop. Could have been the last of APMS. Much easier to move up without an overhang.

Price certainly reacting so far to buying this morning and ticking up.

Plenty of buying going on judging by the prints.

The reason the price is slipping back appears to be that APMS has been offloading and is now < 3%.

Good opportunity to load up whilst there is liquidity. When they're out the price could move up very quickly again and it will be a lot more difficult to build a decent stake.
