Personally I get fed up with most of your posts but don't bleat on all the time for you to go away But contradiction and hypocrisy seem to be yours and others strong suits.

Chris, I don't suppose there is anyone here still standing that has been insulted abused and lied about over the years as much as me

Insinuations that I lose money all the time that I lie about every trade and generally twisting almost everything I post to push a false view of my opinion.

So forgive me when I post to contradict the views expressed.

Today for instance Kag misread my post. Timster actually agreed with my view.

Today as Timster noted it was a culmination of news already released. Why do that? My guess is that if there was no better news to report then the best thing would be , to keep quiet.

So now, I think it more likely than not that there will be good news to be released. Further given where AVCT are right now, good news, could in fact be very good news.

I am cautious in my language always stressing that I DON'T KNOW whats going on, that I don't have the full picture and try my best to resist hyperbole.

Thats why I like to question very assertive assumptions.

This is a trial, if the results were already a foregone conclusion or could just be proved in a test tube or through AI, then there would be no need.

So, its not a done deal, its just from an investment pov we are now at long last, coming to the day where we will finally find out if the wait has been worth it.

What I do know, whether you or anyone else like it or not, my strategy and analysis has proved profitable for me whereas for many here are still sitting on a capital loss.

Many here laugh at that but if I have been so "negative" while at the same time the SP has been in decline and is still at very, historic, low levels, then its more likely I have made money than not.

You yourself doubt my posts on when I bought and sold yet you have no proof that I am a liar by nature, so why assume I am?

I try to temper my language against much provocation and do my best to offer different views to stimulate discussion.

AVCT has been difficult long term hold because some posters emotional attachment stops them being more open minded.

I don't care If I am wrong. I don't expect to be right all the time.

My goal with all my investments is to make money. If that means when new news is released changing my view by 180 then, so what? who cares. (only me).

This is a high risk, loss making company that has never commercialised its tech. The Sp has been volatile but in sharp decline.

The information released by the company over many years has been partial and at times misleading.

I like everyone else recognise the huge investment gains possible here.

I have simply taken the view that I don't and never have had the full picture to make a decision on and have reacted as new news is released.

Based on the long history of the company I have been cautious on believing everything they say at face value.

As a result I have profited from my investment here and my current holding is reasonably in profit.

This latest news bodes well for more better news to be released in the coming weeks.

Whether that will be the case or not, well how do I know? How do you ? We make our assumptions from a whole range of indicators , not just what the latest RNS says, albeit one of the more important ones.

Anyway, She is very bullish and it sounds very promising.

Looks like CC is ready to deliver something more tangible than warm words and encouragement.

There have been rns's galore this year already with the nuts and bolts steps of the trial.

It will be interesting to see how this news is digested.

I would think an increase in the SP but there may be an element of cry wolf which may keep it more muted. Nevertheless it would seem difficult for CC to row back on the expectations she is setting.

I wonder if this really will be it?

Demo, my speculative stocks are, in order:

CPX

XSG

AVCT

The first 2 have tiny market caps so if they do produce something then the rerate will be enormous and are addressing huge markets

AVCT already has a relatively high MC so has to completely deliver to also match the potential percentage bag.

CPX being currently debt free has the advantage of at least selling a product already so has some value even if their new tech fails giving some ultimate return should it go south rather than total loss.

Likewise for HE1 which is 4th on my list. Has a relatively high MC but does have a profitable arm now should their main asset either fail or take too long to deliver revenue.

All should happen in the next 12 months if they are going to, I think

Yes I mis read the thread but I am not desperate and I would still like the other point of view to the question i posed. BV again simply deflects with false insinuation. Clearly he will stoop a s low as he has to, to avoid expressing his view of which he must have as it is the most basic, obvious event that has kept the SP in the doldrums.

But no one, absolutely no one, on this best researched BB can give any sort of rational explanation as to why the AVA6k was extended that explains how it was good news and that it exceeded expectations.

Well, how convenient B2. Why not have the honesty to say you don't know, you can't explain it. Your deliberate avoidance of a simple but crucial question with the "its a stupid" question when it is patently not, shows the lack of argument you have.

Again the only reason that makes sense is that it was not the results they and the market expected.

For you, who is one of the very few that will argue your corner without obvious rancour, I am surprised you use the word "shame" as though it is/was an oversight as opposed to the almost certain much more obvious reason, one that all companies use when there is disappointing news, they say nothing.

B2. AVA 6k works inasmuch as is it protects the body from dox. Its much less clear as to how much of the effectiveness of the the drug itself is compromised.

I understand you don't know but what is your best theory to explain that when the trial was in its last 4th dosing stage and the SP had risen to 185p, when it was surprisingly and unexpectedly forced to go on for another 3 doseings of increased dox and on that news the SP fell ultimately from there to 27p.

If it was because of the fantastic results why would the SP collapse?

Why even now is the SP a third of that years after that event with all the extra data in?

With all the animal results, RNS.s interviews, posters and other data?

I think it did not work as expected on tumour reduction. P1b has not been stella and is not going forward unless someone else coughs up the money, so all this talk of an option of AVCT going it alone, clearly won't be on the back of the results of ava6k will it?

Chris, by all means chip in to explain how your opinion of fantastic, ground breaking, cancer busting tech led to a collapse in the SP and by implication, market expectations when the trial was extended.

We don't know if £10m was the best or not they could get. It is a reasonable possibility and therefore not trolling. (Particularly as you go on to say how hard it is to raise money on AIM.)

The only positive I can see for raising only 6 months revenue is that the initial results from the trial will be so good as to make further funding easier or irrelevant. Which could also be the case.

The Aim market in general is blamed only when a SP/company does not perform as some expect. It is another opinion with no fact to back it up and used solely to deflect from more supported opinion.

If this trial does not work its game over. I think AVA6k keeps the drug away from the system but also reduces its effectiveness so much as to not offer much more than is already available. It cannot be taken in isolation: If there are other gene therapies being worked on why would BP spend money on a partial improvement with the research and trials to improve it when better alternatives are starting to emerge that are truely transformational. (Why do you think this has never made the "news" in the way other trials have?)

There is no evidence that this ",.... logic says that the amount raised was a strategic decision rather than forced." How do you know that? The info given to the interested parties remains behind closed doors. It is an assumption with no supporting evidence.

To suggest that the soon-to-be biggest breakthrough in cancer treatment for decades is because of lack of liquidity of the AIM market somewhat undermines the deals BP have done over the last 5 years.

The SP does not suggest to me this is the most likely outcome or there would be a lot more buying going on since the raise and indeed over the last few years.

The very fact this is a PI stock and few big holders also suggests to me that this is still a long shot.

Chris, perhaps if you had been on the receiving end of the lies and abuse for years you would take a different view.

I cannot speak for others but I have not been bullied off this BB but simply it became completely impossible to hold a "negative" view.

My posts were and are routinely deleted, lies made up, false accusations made and of course unabated abuse. Rarely are any questions answered, the oft retort is that it is a deliberate ploy to disrupt the board by asking a question.

" not really, as no one here as any idea whats going on and the only indicator which we can rely on is the SP, so why has not the SP rocketed already? The reason has not been allowed to be addressed and the obvious logical answer is that the market has yet to be convinced. No peer reviews so far, no deals no nothing,, and a SP that has been volatile but mostly in decline for several years.

If AVA6k (5 years on), leaves a SP at the latest offer price of 63p half of what it was when the trial started shows clearly that it has not been as successful as was expected at the outset.

This new trial is working off of the back of those results of which we still await the final outcome. Almost certainly imo, this has been deliberate otherwise funding would not have been possible at these prices. If AVA6k eventually was so good then those results would have been published first confirming positively the tech before then applying it to this latest trial.

I think they have seen where it fell down and have hopefully rectified that for this trial, hence the way this has timeline has been constructed.

As for 6 months funding: Is it because they know it will blow the doors off, or given the ambiguous and murky results thus far, is all they could get?

If it is the latter the small amount may allow the buyers to flip a relatively overall small amount of stock without causing too much of a problem whilst still allowing them a profit.

Clearly it could be either and even if we allow a 50/50 chance of either outcome and I don't know which one it is, but the SP suggests this is not the done deal so many assume it is.

Apart from many on this BB, if this is to be 10 to a 100 bagger in a matter of weeks, then where is constant buying? just in case this long shot comes off? Don'y you think odd/strange?

As for "....management seem genuinely convinced ...." that the funding is only to allow the stella results to come forth is based on what? what CC says? what do you expect her to say? "its all or nothing and we think we have it now but we will have to wait and see while keeping our fingers firmly crossed"

No one mentions that to have funding to early 2027 means Jan the money runs out which means the clock is ticking for the next funding at about sept oct, 6 months, if you prefer.

It has settled at the offer price.

The market and by that I mean smarter, much smarter people than us lot, who specialise in this area both with their financial expertise as well s the phrama science and who invariable have better contacts than us has decided, at this stage, to sit on their hands.

I only post this because there is no poster now reminding others that it is approaching any day/week now, crunch time, when at last it will be revealed if AVCt really have got hold of something.

Clearly AVA6k, unfortunately, hadn't, so on the back of a disappointing trial this new one carries the load and the market wants to see the results first, being clearly not impressed to date.

Be careful you don't over commit. The old adage springs to mind.... when its too good to be true.......

Hayden, this is not really a trading stock due to the market cap and spread. (its so small its very easy to be manipulated.

(well, you can trade anything but given no one can predict the future trading relies on the predictability of human emotion. Stocks that move primarily on news, disrupt that predictability unless you take a much longer term view (weeks/months.)

As a result most indicators that TA uses do not work on this type of stock (including volume). The only one that has imo a very good success rate is the RSI and as a results if say CPX went into over bought territory its worth selling likewise when oversold its becomes a buy.

None of this is written in stone as the SP ALWAYS has the two options, so all TA is, is an odds game and therefore the rough rule of thumb is that if you get 2 our of 3 trades right, then you should make money.

Its a mechanical system and does not rely or care about fundamentals, given all that info gets translated into the SP action.

I don't try and double guess too much.

I can only make decisions on the info that I have. if the news is fantastic then maybe I stay on for a bit.

On the other hand money is worthless in of itself. Its only when you spend it that you get the benefit.

As a result savings is not our top priority. We try to live for today and just keep one eye slightly opened for tomorrow.

Well, it was not leaked as the price held up yesterday.

it could be the market is relatively relaxed about this one.

Time will tell of course but this is different given there is now imminent revenue now and at a higher level than previously forecasted.
