Aim - what exactly have you been been proven right on? I think you have delusions of grandeur. You’re part of a band of posters who have ramped this to **** and one by one sold out, for whatever the reasons.

I’ve been trading this every now and again recently quite comfortably but took the decision this morning to buy snd hold, plus I’m a proper Ted fan boy so this was a lovely surprise to come home to.

At a corporate level a lot of money. Tech costs are eye watering and they largely hold the keys at the moment.

This was quite a revelation for me.

Regarding extrader/seadoc vs rampers and I look at the articulation of the arguments I’d suggest anyone who doesn’t 100% understand exactly what is going on from start to finish make sure they go back with a fine tooth comb and make sure they are comfortable with their investment. I’m not going to lie I’m spooked at the moment. Not that I think this is a scam, etc, but I can’t figure and what this company is, or if it is even a company at all in its current form. We have a sliding scale of customers from £1.64b to nil. Innovative Tech which I cannot work out if it is ours. A valuation at the prospectus date which has since been written off.

A week ago I had this down as high risk/high reward. Now it’s looking like the roll of a dice.

With all that said I still don’t want to be out!

Well we’ve got €1.64b of supposed pent up demand. I do find it amazing how patient these companies are being in the middle of a cash strapped pandemic.

But two RNS have stated first monetisation is for €300m with revenue of £6.5m.

Surely If this was on the horizon he would have updated us as he seems to be communicating everything else that he can. Why keep this is the locker? Regulatory wise wouldn’t he be obliged to tell us officially if there was a significant uplift in the forecast. Especially when previous LTH seem to be bailing out left, right and centre.

Has he said how much we are paying SIA for the blockchain tech?

Well my original and seemingly incorrect assumption was that SYME was up and running in a pilot phase and the origination amounts contained within the business update RNS was money invested by the funder (one of them mentions €2b) into these clients.

Chalker has correctly pointed out that in the interim accounts an originated client is simply a potential client. The pilot seems to be three companies pointed out by extrader.

Bottom line I thought the ‘proven’ concept was at least running in some form but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

I don’t want to get on about it anymore but I’ve now joined the group who want a confirmation RNS for storm harbour ASAP so I can be sure of my investment here.

This next SH RNS is stay in or get out for me now.

This fully explains for me the SP at the moment.

It as the blockchain element which I assumed was SYME’s but it looks to me like they don’t own it and are procuring (or partnering) from SIA, if I’m understanding correctly. I hadn’t picked up in this from the RNS at the time.

It’s spooked me as this was the innovative tech part.

Also, for me the accounting questions I had only at the back of my mind as I thought there were companies on the platform, which now is not the case.

Great time to buy, it’s the beginning of the end. I bought in on the first vaccine news and generally rotated a chunk of my portfolio into recovery stocks.

Hi chalker - just want to run a couple of points past you if I may.

I’ve been backtracking through the interim accounts - can you see anywhere who actually owns the platform? I’m assuming SYME own it but it looks like all the blockchain functionality is owned/provided by SIA. SYME have software capitalised of £185k after amortisation. I can’t quite work out if this figure is significant or not.

With regards to the write down in the accounts of £225m this is because the company at the prospectus date was incorrectly classed as a business combination, in your professional view how would this valuation have been arrived at?

By my own admission my research here hasn’t gone far back enough nor been deep enough, which I’ve realised today.

So how has a pilot been run in Italy and in the UK if they haven’t provided any funds?

Hi invest - I’ve always thought the securitisation was the process of matching clients to funders. They are being onboarded at a rate of 50 per month. Surely once they are onboarded they are good to go and the funding is in place.

Chalker if there is €1.64b that you are saying hasn’t been funded then why all the fuss over Storm Harbour which is small beans in comparison?

Hi chalker one of the RNSs pointed to €2b being invested and they mentioned the French supermarkets supply chain, etc. I assumed this was the pilot in action.

Surely all these companies wouldn’t be sat waiting to there money still?

If you read the RNS nearly €2b of the investment bank money had already been released. Think about this rationally. If you needed cash now would you be happy waiting around in a group pot for a securitisation to complete? They must be releasing cash surely.

On the RNS update of the 28th Sept €1.64m had been ‘originated’ with the balance presumably being storm harbour (would mean just short of €2b). So I think this is an ongoing process.

Looking at today’s drop the markets seem to be treating SYME like a COVID play.

Not sure I agree with that at all.

The vast majority of transactions are by traders so the thought that 20 or so prominent posters on here with their small holdings can influence the SP is fanciful imo.
