I can’t recall ever seeing a tr1 for HL. I’ve seen them for Morgan Stanley, Bailie Gifford, Blackrock, etc, but they take large mutual fund style positions.

Maybe it’s because HL is a platform for retail investors, but they do have funds as well.

Ira - I’m no expert on this but I suspect it’s because they are nominee shares bought on behalf of their clients, ie. not owned by one party.

You’re joking right. It’s just another method of finance.

The confidentiality is around the funder (which everyone is dying to know) rather than the client companies themselves though right.

Was there a euro supermarket and their supply chain named in an RNS a short while back.

Why would they publish their client list for their competitors to see? That would be terrible business practice.

HL is retail.

SPACs are all the rage in the states at the moment.

It didn’t actually occur to me that that’s what these SYME funding vehicles were, but I guess they are similar.

Yeah they definitely need to revisit their RNS strategy. Rather than releasing incremental bits of information save up for a biggie then bang!

We need quality information now, and preferably some full trading numbers rather than just revenue forecasts.

London does need to do something about It’s tech offering.

Especially as a market how it’s advanced five years in six months and the US is getting all the action.

Unless it all goes pop and then they can keep it.

Interesting dynamic if WG is de-risking. I suspect a lot of the children have piggy backed on him.

I’m not surprised I’ve found some people in some aspects of IT, usually developers, to be extremely socially awkward.

Highly intelligent but people skills extremely lacking. So I could quite imagine them bickering away on a forum but I bet if they were to meet they wouldn’t say boo to a goose.

Haha well I can assure you it wasn’t me. I actually stumbled across this place by accident in the summer when searching for the actually London stock exchange site and used to lurk on CINE when I was invested there.

As for thick skin I’m too wise for the games these days. The children on here were me fifteen years ago when I use to be a football forum regular.

I have to be interested in something and I have to understand it to find the will to research it. SYME although a complicated model I get it, I can see where it would work, but with my background in finance I can see where it could potentially fall down as well.

I’ve brought three tranches of shares now. First was back in August and I got cold feet and saw other opportunities. Then came back in a month or so again and doubled up when it dropped to 0.43/0.44 ish.

This BB is addictive, probably because it’s such an unknown share, concept, etc, and has developed almost a cult like following so passions are high.

Fair play to your bro. I got in at 18p but there seems to be something brewing there and imo has the most impressive knowledgable posters of any BB.

If it wasn’t for these boards I wouldn’t have known who many of the underground AIM companies were.

I’m in GGP and SNG but know feck all about gold exploration or biotech. Literally out of my depth.
