To run a start up business you need to be very entrepreneurial to make it a success. Part of this would be taking a percentage of your salary in shares to show you believe in what you are doing.. These guys are probably used to working in larger organisations that have large resources to fall back on . The last 4 year under Budd proved they had the ability to drag failure from the jaws of success. I really don’t see Cheek being any different.

They seem to be almost blind to when sales will arrive in sufficient quantities to support the business . How can a business be so blind?

here’s the thing management only value the business at 1.5p per share. why would anyone else think the business is worth more. they have limped on from one raise to another and when this failed they went to the lender of last resort in riverfort .. this then destroyed the share price .. they have now gone back to the market for a **** or busy raise on 3 fronts when the share price is on its knees and leading to massive dilution.. all this while the business has produced almost no sales at all. and have not attempted to keep or reduce costs

the question is do you believe they are capable of getting the potential sales they suggest is available with in the time the capital raise will allow . there is definitely potential.. but it’s whether these executives can exploit this .. given what’s gone on for the last 3-4 years

With the current financial situation.. you would expect the executives to take some of their salaries in shares in lew of pay. This would help ease the pressure on capital and give a message to the other stakeholders that we are all in it together! The fact they haven’t shows where there priorities lie

is there any info on the likely timescale to meaningful sales, the value of this income. where this is likely to come from? also how they are going to manage costs in the mean time? or are they just blindly going on.

this has been a **** show for years.. it beggars belief that they have been so laps on both income and capital finance …….and have used badly structured loan agreements and heaverly discounted placements to sure up the company. it does worry me that they don’t seem to have and never had have a handle on either of these fundamental issues to a start up business

It's called "just in time management".. this allows funds to only be used at the critical point in the process ...absolutely no need to have a substation up and running before there is power to go through it surely!
