The amusing thing (for me at least) is he still thinks everyone is in the red. He called averaging down “greedy” ....serious case of humble pie. Just living off his one successful trade. Ha-ha.

*Note - at this stage nothing wrong with being in the red for anyone who still is and couldn’t average down, it might dip here and there but the MOST likely case overall is UP! So please don’t stress about it. :).

As most of us have been saying for the past week - whatever you give the general public at this point in time they will happily take with both hands! “Travel boom”, retail, staycations....and some people think they’ll draw the line at cinemas!

Amen. Though, AMC are not in the same position as us. For them, I believe, it is only a matter of time until the drop - unless we see a massive change in fortunes for them. We are (atm) in a much more financially secure position!

Meaningless mate - over the past couple of years this has been in the top 3 most shorted stocks several times - price has gone up and down...People were shorting it when it hit £1 ....TWICE ...just last month.

Good question mate. I don’t know - however, CINE share movement seems quite detached from FTSE 100/250 movement at times - which, I guess, in regards to Brexit is a good deal! (Pardon the pun haha!...don’t bite I didn’t vote!)

Yeah it was interesting racandfz, it made me laugh last week when so many were arguing the general public would be too frightened to go.

I was at Westfield (again) yesterday and it was notably busier than last week. In fact it was so busy, we decided to drive around the corner to Oxford Street - which was much quieter due to no tourists being around.

IF cinemas open sometime in August and the movies start coming out - I have no doubt they will be absolutely choker!

Interesting to note, he said “half” of US cases are in 3 state’s at the moment. Therefore, at least for the time being - it isn’t as widespread in the US as people might think.

Shorts are at a 9 year high - not for CINE, in general I mean. Funds are also holding 2 times the amount of cash they historically hold for this period, which at some point they will inject in the markets. It will be a classic case of Bears vs Bulls. The bulls won round 1 since the March crash.

P.s just worth adding mate - further $1 trillion stimulus has already been discussed - the question is just “when” it should be deployed. Powell, rightly so, wants to avoid a “Zimbabwe” situation - which would of course occur in the event of too much (is there such a thing) stimulus! :)

I think it would be a big boost to be honest. The FED’s trillion $ “package” was well received last month and I’m sure one of the reasons this shot to £1~. It builds investor confidence.

Today is quite interesting with the Ftse, Dow, S&P & Nasdaq all doing their own thing it seems.

Don’t stress buddy. According to most estimates the fair SP is above £1. So your 91p average will not leave you red for too long!
I’m averaging in the 70’s. But my position is quite small because most my money is tied up in investments. But even so if it hits 40’s I’ll bring my average into the 60’s.

If we know about it on this thread - it’s been priced in! ;)
