I mentioned this 2 days ago, but for those who missed it - not one for technicalities - but the “resistance” points 19/33/55/65...then not much till £1 do seem to be holding true. I was hoping I’m wrong when I saw it go running past 65, but it seems they are still there.

Don’t stress it too much folks, with the volume coming through this SP now wants to break out!! Last month, it wanted to drop - but now it seems a completely different story! :D

There should be nothing in the way of us now and mid 50’ s. If we break through the mid 50’s / early 60’s - it will be a MASSIVE psychological victory and we will most likely be at £1 before we know.

I think it is also worth noting AMC’s price is 55-60% of pre-covid ....that would equate to over £1 for us.

@Ash, I know 60% isn’t great - but, just remember - this was at 18p. A few days later at £1.02 (intraday)....that sort of movement is crazy. Especially when you consider their position was worse off then!

I just got back from watching 1917 at CINE. Just over a dozen people again at the showing - however, something that didn’t happen last week - a Tenet trailer !!

I’m going again next week to watch Jurassic Park :D

For new investors - friendly piece of advice if you have a moment ...

If investing = instant reward, everyone would be rich.

Once invested, if you still believe in the fundamentals (reasons WHY you initially invested) then don’t pull out at a loss a week later. A week in investment terms is a drop in the ocean. Up to 3 months is really not much at all. Funds will recommend a 3-5 year hold as a minimum!

If you look at (as an example) covid cases and think “crap, XYZ is going bust” - then sell.

But your judgement shouldn’t be on SP price fluctuations- ESPECIALLY over the past 5 months where fundamentals have been thrown out the window!!

If you need the cash in the next few months - It may be worth reconsidering any investments.

Either way, GL. At the end of the day it is your money - so what makes you happy !

@Hosai - ah, 40 or so per screening is actually very decent. I’m trying a new Cineworld tomorrow, a few miles further out than I usually venture - I’ll be interested to see the numbers Jurassic Park attracts - SP aside, people are crazy imo to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to watch the likes of Jurassic Park on the big screen again!! I’m buzzing. Too young to remember watching it in the cinema first time around.

@Laidback - top stuff matey. Though, if CINE proves it’s financial stability & COVID is a “one wave wonder” as the WHO is predicting - I reckon £1 is conservative for CINE! At the mo, investors aren’t betting on demand returning etc, it is quite simply “do you think cine will survive” - I’m (obviously) in the YES camp (70/30 I reckon as things stand) - however, some people want a bit more security before throwing in their job seekers allowance!

Shawshank - mixed. not really something you have to see in a cinema again.

Jurassic Park - nice. Great.

But why not mix it up a little - don’t show all the barman’s and H.P’s at the same time - one a week. And replace the other showings with Lord of The Rings!! For this generation that haven’t seen it.

Throw in La-La Land / pretty woman for all the girlies ! My missus would watch PW 25/7.

I’m not a Harry Potter fan (only saw the first one) - so having four (I think) different ones out the sequel showing daily is a bit of a waste - could spread it out & mix it up!

I am certain there will be more people are Jurassic Park when I go tomorrow than the 16 people at Unhinged the other day...because it’s a classic and this generation now have a chance to see it on the big screen :D

@Newbie think earnings report will make the SP rise (or am I bias haha) but I honestly do - looking at what’s happened elsewhere in the markets after results. I hope they come out tomorrow / Friday! If they haven’t come out tomorrow I’ll be topping up if the SP stays sub 40. Either way, I’m off to watch 1917 @ Cine tomorrow afternoon , I’ll make sure I count every person coming in, and ask for ID / ticket haha :D
