StockCheque, I'm not here to argue, but for a balanced discussion. Remember, things posted here can and should be not only 100% positive & speculation, a balanced counter opinion is allowed, even if it doesn't suit your agenda.

My point is that the TPDC talk a good game but are extremely slow at implementing what they preach. There have been countless articles this year and last saying that they (TPDC) plan to build this and build that but at the end of the day they need our gas tied in to feed all these wonderful projects. So, why the delay in the tender for the pipeline which was supposed to be advertised in July, surely that is the top priority for the country? The tender will have to be advertised for clarity and can't be awarded under the table. ARA will probably not put a spade in the ground until the pipeline is progressed (and rightly so).

And I wasn't accusing the government of anything, just stating how I see it. But if you choose to see it differently then who am I to judge. I've been here a long, long time and frustration is well an truly set in as another year is drawing to a close! I, as do you, believe it will all work out, it's just a matter of when not if.

There were other pipeline deadlines before mid 2025 or have you forgotten. Dec 2024 maybe?

The government have said a lot of good things StockCheque; news articles, future rosy plans, etc, etc, but timelines is something they certainly are not good at! They can talk the talk but so far, they don't want to walk the walk.

I don't know what's worse, the posts from the trolls, that i no longer see anymore, or the posts from people who continue to give them the time of day for recognising them and talking about/ to them. Do yourselves and others a favour and ignore them.

There are a lot of green boxes on my screen today, so refreshing not to see what's behind them!

By the time we spud CH1 the sp will be beyond the 3-4p mark because I'm anticipating a cpr update before then and all the other pre drill news will make this climb up to CH1.

Hopefully the sp doesn't drop any more prior to the AGM. I know the frustration, I'm exactly the same but things will be progressing and I'm expecting a good update on or before next Thursday. CPR would be nice.

Had AEX raised for the next drill back in the day, they didn't have the knowledge or accurate knowledge to know exactly where to drill and it may not have been successful and at our expense with more dilution. We may have 'given away' 2/3rds of our asset but, personally, I think it was in our best interests and AEX will be far better off retaining 25% stake to, let's face it, sit back and do nothing but reap the rewards going forward. Had AEX not farmed out, where would we be now. After 13yrs of being invested I'm over the bloody moon that ARA came along. And the fact that they own almost 30% through Eclipse and have offered a loan facility going forward if we struggle speaks huge volumes and they are lookingafterAEX. They're like a big brother. The other important factor that not everyone knows, is the close relationship between Tanzania & Oman. Swahili is spoken in Oman and the 2 countries go way back and I believe that bodes very well for the 2 countries and business. We, AEX, are in very good hands, and I for 1, after many torturous years of AEX investment am happy to sit back, fully loaded and ready for the ride. GLA

I'm sorry but there will be no drilling in June or July, if they do, I'll eat Rojos hat myself. Those timings advertised are clearly based on receiving the development licence way before now and haven't been updated. In preparation to drill there are at least 2-3 months required for all the infrastructure to be built. I'm going for Sept onwards.

Quite possibly, from the RNS:

"It (TPDC) has completed all front-end engineering and design works required for the construction of a 35km pipeline to connect to the TPDC's existing processing and transmission infrastructure at Madimba."

Not long to wait until the end of year financial results. Needs to be issued by April 30th, so one way or another there will be an RNS in the next 7 days with an operational update, whether they want to or not.

But just remember, ARA will vet everything AEX put in it. With ARA being non listed, if they don't want news out then it wont be put out, regardless of whether AEX legally have to. The get out is "Well ARA never told us the Licence was granted so how can we notify the market, we're not the operator"

Either way, things look to be hotting up.
