I’m guessing that our scrubber is being loaded/fitted alongside wharf 3 and that testing and paint job will take place after when in one of the dry docks?

Well it’s bounced nicely off 1.17p and that’s another 1k in the hold shipmates!

Cape Success Bulk Carrier which had been moored hard up to us a couple of days and then appeared to be dry docked close by these last three days. Has now vacated that dock and is under steam out of the Jinzhou estuary. Maybe freeing up a dock for us?

I recall one of DoN’s recent posts on here on the subject suggested that modern dry docking, including fitting of a scrubber, can be as short as 2-3 weeks?!
That would allow a quick return to trading and our trials!!

Both bottom and top (back) coast of the Dalian peninsula are in fact Dalian and both sides have various shipyards.
We are in and can look forward to dry dock news ‘imminently’ tee hee

And, having read the other recent comments in this thread
I guess that Jason’s April/May (in milestone timetable in interims) included some contingency and probably sailing time also?
If the dry docking takes 3 weeks and if she is in now as seems the case, then we could be back in European waters by mid to end May

Whilst MSC Leandra remains anchored in Jizhou Bay to the west of Dalian
And since Jason’s comments in the interims wrote off April-may to Dry docking of the vessel
I guess there is no point expecting anything much to happen here for a good few weeks.

We won’t see her af paint going on. We won’t see her scrubber being fitted.
All we’ll see and hear is ‘ . . . . ‘ until we see her leave dock again.
Plenty of other news due though.
Possibly Utah licenses granted, possibly Morocco trial start and even completion before dry docking completes?
News will stimulate sp and support but I doubt we’ll get any regards Leandra now for a while.

I’m not a fan of all the ‘net zero’ populism stuff.
250tonnes of minerals mined just for a small car battery. Oh and the queue for recharges as my (old) diesel car chugs past! In my opinion we should be stupid not to use our natural resources first. In times to come we will have to resort to using them so why not now?!
But. . .we are dealing with Huge companies that have to get on board and will make some of this happen. Therefore we do need a pipeline of products in development and just as bioMSAR will be required, so MSAR will find its markets and our new net-zero plant sugar SuperBioMSAR will also find its niche. As DoN says, just hope our project delivery and commercial side start to perform as well as RD@E are doing!

I guess that Utah for us is all about the Valkor licences for five drills and us providing an MMU to convert that output for heating oil etc locally.
TomCo and oil sands seems far away to me.
