Bought a few more back today (also bought a few around 73p on Friday) of the ones I sold around the 75p level earlier last week.

What fun.

It's beggars belief they can get away with publishing pie in the sky NAVs! Investors getting royally screwed again!

Closed means wind up, assets sold and money returned to shareholders less fees.

You will get back what you get back, but the whole investment won't just spoof up in smoke, there is some value here.

So, what are we thinking? It's been quite the tumble!

For context I was heavily in from last April and sold gradually as the price increased, I eventually ran out of shares to sell around the £10 mark.

I got back in FOMO most likely and now sit just over £11 average, I'm averaging down.

I personally think it's a normal healthy flush, I remember April felt like doomsday and we came out of that strong.

Currently around 15% of portfolio balanced with defensive income orientated funds to use to rebalance with, hoping the downward pressure starts to ease as I can keep averaging down forever 🤣.

Probably used co pilot to fluff it up a bit.

In any case it's an absolute farce, how on earth is anyone meant to invest with any degree of confidence with either of these solar funds, utter shambles.

The value bleed since midway through the year has been unacceptable, surely they must see that.

Wind up and move on already.

It could improve if BSIF actually gets a nibble on the line, silence is deafening.

If you remove dividends it's a 4.4p fall c4.05% (c6.20%) difference in nav (share price).

Hang on, a cash exit of £250m in aggregate at 10% discount to NAV as at September 109ish (98p ish). I am missing something, why isn't this trading nearer to that exit price?

Just a blip, could go lower but will settle soon providing the US stops spitting it's dummy out.

I'm holding, let's face it I'm used to the constant red days anyway now, who cares.

Atleast with all this gloom it will accelerate the need for consolidation / strategic action across the sector.

Not surprising considering the meteoric rise this year, however why not take the profits yesterday? Must be bigger things at play here.

See I don't understand the share price movements here, gilts are down across the board today, oil is down also, yet these are down! Surely a weakening economic outlook is good for bond proxies!

We've all but given back all of the 'put up for sale' announcement gains, hopefully we will hear of a juicy offer for the company soon to provide a positive catalyst, you never know we may even get word that the government is backing down on their foolhardy plan regarding CPI / RPI.
