I initially thought this would bounce today with this quite good news, however the market thinks otherwise. This was over 60p before the deby covenant issues, fell to around 50p and has steadily died since. I don't want to add anymore, I'm personally done with it and will collect dividends which is atleast returning my capital back at NAV whatever that is. Hopefully we will see a positive outcome to any strategic review moving forwards and you never know, if the broader markets really tanks and this holds up, these dead funds can be used to buy the dip. TLDR, I'm pretty fed up with the whole trust.

Appears overdone looking through my naive glasses, I can't remember tfif moving this much in a single day (I wasn't invested in the COVID sell off).

Spreads and repricing of assets, couldn't resist buying back in today, been following it all the way and managed to get a few under 108p!

Being floating rate, it's not higher for longer.

Considering this was trading at 113p not very long ago, seems a decent entry point.

IMO the reason for the weakness was firstly geopolitical events, secondly bad sentiment towards to the results and thirdly, higher oil pricing leading to long dated gilt yields rising lowering the price of our liability matched bond / gilt holdings. Should see a bounce tomorrow to match the USA as I think there has been some positive news from the middle east.

NAV down again, though if we see a resolution in the middle east, spreads could close again, buyers will come in and hopefully back to a premium along with NAV accretion, time will tell.

Slight margin of safety due to trading at around par after being nearly on a 2% premium.

Just keep buying, market dislocations are the best time.

Well SEQI has well and truly blown my low volatility theory out the window.

Sold of defence and purchased a few more near the lows, though I have a feeling this will go lower as it doesn't normally fall this much in one session so could be a fundamental reason.

Regarding the fees again, I can't seem to work out why if the portfolios YTM / YTW as of 30/11 is 9.29%, why is the dividend yield at NAV only 7.31% (at SP 8.60%)?

The TER is 0.96% (reversed is 0.965% added to the NAV price, so GAV is £95.85).

£95.85 * 9.29% = 8.904p of coupon payments per share.

Yet we only see 6.875p per share.

A 22.79% reduction.

Based on a ongoing charge (TER) of 0.96% and dividend cover if 1.01 times, this seems excessive?

Tell me what I am missing.

NAV return for the Five years to 02/12/2025 is 34.9%, seems on the low side considering this yields around 9% at NAV (appreciate not all these years have been as high).

Fees really do eat into returns.

Why does AIC quote NAV at 95.73p as of 12/12? Quite a bit out, that will surely update tomorrow to reflect the new 94p?
