Morning .. I think you are being a bit hard on yourself about your ‘knowledge’ .. I bet you know more about scancells technology than the average trader or anyone just coming across scancell for the first time ..

The point is you are invested is Scancells deep understanding and not your own ?

Look at the scientists at scancell and also now the organisations and other professionals involving themselves with scancell ..

Whether you understand the science or not, fortunately is not you (or me!) developing it ..

Morning all , I can see both sides of the argument. It’s certainly an interesting issue .

Going back to what is in Scancells RNS ..

Modi 1 trial moving on to the expansion phase is an achievement in itself ! It’s safe to date. No safety concerns at all! This milestone is worthy of an RNS.

There was no obligation for scancell to comment on the early observations seen in the first patients.

They chose to add this in my opinion.

Patients sharing their experiences on forums is not the main news here .. scancell released the news they wanted to in the RNS. I don’t want discourage people from sharing because that can be therapeutic for them and give hope to others when it’s positive news but this shouldn’t become a distraction to the actual news the company shares.

Patients on these trials are very brave people.. I tip my hat to all of them.

The prompt response was that they couldn’t comment on the macmillan forum, but the information scancell wanted to release was in the RNS.

I don’t remember any issues when a Scib1 trial participant went on BBC breakfast !?

People who post on public forums, know they are public right .. for whatever reason?

I think patients who think they are doing well on their open label ‘trial’ should be able to share if they want to? They are probably pretty delighted ?

Just a point of observation .. when scancell started out on their journey, immunotherapy was in its infancy and a fraction of the knowledge about the immune system was known then ..

Now the science is available to look for markers and responses that more accurately predict what is going to happen in patients ..

That scancell reported this is not something that might have been ‘noticed’ ten years ago ..

“ Encouragingly, all three patients showed a delayed type hypersensitivity response to the vaccine, which is indicative of a T cell response, and the first patient to be assessed has shown a partial tumour response at first radiological reassessment. ”

This is really interesting stuff !!

Morning ! GF.. yes, probably the most exciting couple of week for scancell to date ! And more to come? I think so..

Your post reminded me of my honeymoon ! We spent a week in portifino and the Italian lakes then drove to Venice for a couple of nights before getting the VSOP home .. and you wouldn’t believe it but John Travolta was on it and we had a chat with him in the bar !

Blimmin ruined my honeymoon he did .. all the missus talked about when we got back was him !!! Lol ..
