Scancell are in no hurry to make big decisions .. they have the funds to build on their data in human trials over the next year .. this time next year, they will have some decisions to make, and by the looks of it, scancell may be holding some aces !?

The reason I think conclusions could be drawn early is that the prognosis of patients joining this trial is fairly poor and with no further intervention would be unlikely to see 2026 !

Actually, we already know there were 4 more patients already dosed in the ‘expansion phase’ RNS as one patient from each arm had already received their first dose !

Since the last update there could be several/tens more patients now that could well have shown DTH too as this occurs within 72 hours of immunisation !!

Fascinating stuff eh!

We know the first 3 patients in cohort 2 had a Delayed Type Hypersensitivity reaction to Modi1 ..

I did a bit more digging and found this ..

The conclusion saying ..

“ These results indicate that significant DTH responses, which develop in cancer patients post immunization are, potentially, a reflection of the development of systemic cell mediated immunity.”

.. and we know at least one (possibly 2) of these 3 patients went on to have tumour shrinkage !

This is why I’m looking forward to the next update !
