Tumour regression ..15 Dec 2022 19:37
Bringing it back to what we know ..
It’s looking like the tumour regression we have been informed of is fairly steady ..
I think this is a good thing (if it continues and is seen in others) for 2 reasons !
1 - With too much t-cell action and too much destruction too quickly there is a risk of cytokine release syndrome .. (although this is seen in other immunotherapies and this can be managed if monitored closely).
2 - if t-cells go all out and work too hard they can burn out and become fatigued and ineffective!
The nice steady, almost driven by nature, immune response to the tumours is I think what scancell is aiming at !?
Time will tell and just a couple of thoughts out loud !?
Any comments on these are more than welcome !
Take care all ..
