Well.. I am not a new one to Imm, but I have certainly benefited from TM’s decisions over the last 5 years. I am sure TM has too. Whether the next rally is another one that should be sold into, or a more enduring and exponential recovery as we saw after the cash raise in 2016, entirely depends on what they say. Where we all appear to be in agreement is - right now, Imm looks like a decent place to be. ATB

The management decision to heavily dilute holders at 26p back in 2016, was no doubt a difficult one - especially given many of them were large holders. Yet ultimately the shares multiplied and phase 3 trial result was reached. The decision to dilute at 140p was also unpopular, but following the trial result it was a decision that saved the company financially and given the opportunity to try again. The use of a convertible loan with conversion at a premium will likely prove less dilutive than a discounted rights issue. Multiple correct decisions. The award of options a few months before the ph3 trial result (and no doubt there will be more soon) and the purchase of Incanthera with limited explanation to Imm holders (and for TM now to hold a decent stake) - cynical decisions in bad taste, IMO. So there are positives and negatives. They look after themselves, but they also get things done.

Not sure that’s factually correct. Longer term investors will have made money between early 2016 to the peak in 2018, and lanstead were present the entire time. In fact, it was their capital that enabled the trial to proceed. Entirely depends on what phase of the story we are in - no different to any other share. IMO

Good post dallo. I also hope they can get one or two other projects to the clinic and that will also help rebase the shares at a higher level. As you suggest, on previous occasions the shares have been in free fall just prior to the positive news Ie the short term moves don’t tell you a lot. GLA

The Lanstead payments are priced on the 1st of each month. So it’s a decent bet they are trying to get the price down to reduce the size of payment. Given Imm have the cash from the new convertible, I doubt they care too much. Will they time any newsflow to help their pals at lanstead a little? Quite possibly.

A standstill agreement gives individual bond holders some reassurance that multiple assets are not going to be dumped into an illiquid market - thus protecting asset prices. Without the standstill, they lose all control over what happens elsewhere.

Sharefall - one obvious reason a bondholder may agree to the standstill is that it enforces some discipline on the market. It collectively inhibits other bond holders from dumping property and further unsettling the market. Without the standstill, individual bond holders get control of their property but lose influence on what happens elsewhere. None of them will want to report that asset values have fallen beneath the principal value. Whether this incentive is enough remains to be seen.

I agree p, jarv. The science here is evidently great, strong market positions. But the PR is the biggest joke in the market! I emailed them a couple of months back regarding what they were doing about covid - no response. They are an immunological diagnostics company - immunodiagnostics plc - that has had b*gger all to say during the largest sea change to impact its industry in years.

Entirely depends whether the 210p close was the right price to begin with. £5 equates to an ev:sales of 3x. If the company is going to grow - and today’s news suggests it will - that’s not demanding for a high margin growth stock in the right place at the right time. I’ve heard stranger predictions. Atb

Saint Tropez - it’s not quite that simple. The existing IDH business already covers all fixed costs, not true of many of the more speculative covid punts. That means that all the incremental gross margin made on additional business such as this falls straight to the bottom line. I suspect at the end of the day, any covid passport that is issued will need to be independently verified in a lab using accurate, tried and trusted equipment - IDH is an established player. 600 machines is a decent footprint, if more need to be built - that’s no bad thing for IDH.

It’s all about whether they can fill the gas processing plant - if they sign one or two agreements on reasonable economic returns, this will go exponential. Atb

Quite right noobz, there is no certainty here and people need to bear this in mind. There are positives and negatives, and given the shares have doubled already off the lows then people need to recognise that more hope of a positive outcome is now priced in. I have reduced my position accordingly. The thing that got me interested at 4p was the relentless certainty of outcome posted by some who thought they knew it was going to zero. The market has taught them a lesson and they don’t like it. Best of luck :)

The only message that counts is that sain was negative at 4p, and the shares are now 8p. The market has made him look a plonker. Don’t shoot the messenger indeed :)
