Injection devices for vaccines, inhalation devices for respiratory treatments, diagnostic consumables and reagent packs for testing... and they can do it globally... surely Carclo has a role to play in getting covid under control... “Typical products include drug delivery devices such as injection devices and asthma inhalers and diagnostic consumables such as pipette tips, reagent packs and Point-of-Care cartridges.”

I should add - the £1.2bn equity figure you mention will change depending on whether the £2.8bn takeover price represents a premium to the equity booked in the Centrica accounts for the US assets. If it does - and I suspect it will - the equity backing the valuation will also be consolidated.

Poker - liabilities are not debt, yet you mention the $16bn liabilities number. The reason I highlight the assets is because otherwise you suggest the entire liabilities line is uncovered. Yes - they will have debt, they will also have cash to cover the debt If they choose - hence, zero net debt. If stating debt instead of net debt is misleading, it is certainly less misleading than the suggestion that the entire $16bn liabilities is debt.

Sudnal is correct - they will have zero net debt. The company has total assets of over £16bn to offset liabilities.

QD - last year the agreement with the trustees was reported on the 22nd July, with bank financing resolved around a week later. So if we are running to a similar timetable, news on this front could come any day.

Buffer bought Imm shares at 20p but believes great news will never come. I think his process needs a bit of work :)

The people complaining on these boards are always the ones who have sold (often at a loss) - and are hoping like mad the shares drop to justify their decision. Don’t let their impatience sway you.. atb :)

Any thoughts on who will manufacture the POC test? I have bought some Carclo because the shares look decent value anyway, but be interested to know who else may be in the frame..

Buffer has a much higher entry price. I guess he’s just offloading a little frustration.

I agree, balanced. Exactly the point I made yesterday.. “.. on previous occasions the shares have been in free fall just prior to the positive news Ie the short term moves don’t tell you a lot.”
