Agree Manifesto - I'm trying not to get too carried away prior to P3 results, but yes the potential is massive. Competition falling by the wayside and Interferon treatment getting more and more positive press around the world for all manner of potential applications is all good news. I've previously had a "fair takeover price" on good P3 results as around £10Bn in my head, but given the potential one could argue this figure to be very low in reality. We really could have the next Paracetamol or Penicillin...

Lets just hope that if the P3 results are as good as we hope that the RNSs sufficiently hammer home this true potential to all interested parties and decision makers, not only for our financial gain (as nice as that will be), but for the good of the world.

Thanks gggg. Seems to be a lot of these studies popping up around the world highlighting their "breakthroughs" in Interferon research. I read with a wry smile thinking that it seems like they're miles behind Synairgen...

Still...it's good to get this knowledge out there and increase the exposure of "Interferons" to a wider audience ready for when Synairgen (hopefully) announce their positive p3 results very soon.

I think the next tweet will be as follows: "head over to our website, where there's a video of some of our investors nervously waiting for news of P3 results. We're POSITIVE that if we make them wait any longer this will RESULT in IMMINENT spontaneous combustion of the majority of them!! Investors - please read words in capitals only, Thank you".

Rather hamfisted - yes Doc, but it also gets people onto the website, where they might not have bothered before :-)

Maybe they've accepted a $50bn cash takeover offer from Pfizer and there's teams of people now busy counting the cash to make sure it's all there before releasing the news...

Indeed, it seems the flow of scientific papers and studies into IFN-ß, showing its "holy grail" potential in all manner of scenarios is relentless at the moment. The "due dilligence" side of me continues to search for any downsides to SNG001, which may cause P3 to fail, but I must admit...I'm struggling.

I don't think we'll get the RNS Monday, but I'm willing to put my optimistic hat, rose tinted specs and lucky pants on for the purposes of a bit of fun. So...

Absolutely, and I think the sheer gravitas which Sir Stephen Holgate projects, coupled with the professionalism of the whole Synairgen team (as demonstrated through RMs calm and authoritative interviews and the new website and marketing info etc), will really give people belief in the true potential of this product.

Possibly, Kevinl1977...if they're sober for long enough to get the words out.

I agree Matml74 (should really have replaced the word "maybe" in my last paragraph with "I think"). Bonus being that the US's orders are likely to be a lot higher too.

We're all clearly excited and impatient for the (hopefully very positive) RNS to come through and it's fun having playful predictions of "will it be Manic Monday 2" or "Ferrari-dealer Friday".

Ultimately, it will happen when it happens, but we do obviously want it to have as much impact as possible - front page news on every newspaper, main item on the TV news etc. This Monday for example it is widely thought that Sue Gray will release the findings of her investigation into the parties at No. 10 and possibly Boris's future. This could be a good thing or a bad thing if Synairgen announces its positive news on the same day. On the one hand, Boris could use the news to deflect any heat away from him and use "this great British company in Southampton that my government have supported unswervingly for many years" to help save his skin. This, coupled with some glowing praise for Synairgen from JVT, who just happens to be in Southampton Uni on that day could really put us on the map...

...or, as has really been the case historically, Boris and his team could largely ignore Synairgen's big announcement and the news gets tucked away in a little column on page 13, trumped by yet more talk of No. 10 parties which we're all bored to death of hearing about.

Just my random thoughts for a boring RNS-less Friday! Maybe the above scenario won't matter so much anyway as we have our friends in the US being a lot more positive and pro-active with Synairgen :-) Either way, GLA and let's hope it IS positive news, we don't have to wait much longer and our faith and patience in this excellent and professional company is richly rewarded

Agreed gggg21. We shareholders have known for a long time how professional Synairgen are as a company. Recent activities, including the website, seem like a purposeful drive to get this fact out to wider, global audience.
