RE: Down, But Not Out (1)12 Apr 2022 11:05
Ref JV: Prior to "that" RNS it seemed to me, admittedly as a layman, that Synairgen were making all the right moves in terms of commercialisation:- partnering with Ashfield Engage and media/commercial/ex big-Pharma guru Ray Jordan, lots of internal recruits with formidable sounding CVs and offices opening in strategic locations like Ireland and the US. And no doubt a few more things that I've forgotten...
If we were to take it that "it was the trial that failed, not SNG001", then upon (hopefully) excellent Activ-2 results and gems from the deep-dive Sprinter exercise and/or promising Long Covid data etc etc, would it not be the case that enough groundwork has already been done to re-start the things mentioned above in order to complete the initial commercialisation process quickly following what would be (again hopefully) a swiftly and granted EUA* and subsequent orders?
I write the above in a slight "devils advocate" way. Personally speaking, even with the partnerships mentioned above, my confidence in Synairgen be able to push anything to market is currently very low, clearly due to failed trials and the subsequent rather underwhelming RNS's. Maybe a bigger JV is the way forward, maybe a takeover a bit earlier (and therefore less lucrative) than we'd hoped would be best?.. but what ever the outcome, I just hope that we get the financial reward which is deserved rather than selling out on the cheap. And that we start saving lives of course...
*provided of course that Synairgen have the nous to actually apply for one...
