The difference here though is that it's not Avacta that is describing the FAPa as best in class!!

The safety committee will have met on 3 occasions since dose escalation was announced.

The fact the trial continues without being halted (which would need to be notified to the market) indicates that dosage at 50% above standard is being tolerated by the patient ?

If DE commenced immediately (within 1 week of DE announcement - Feb 3rd) patients dosed may now be on their 2nd / 3rd dosage?

Bein, I agree, unique IP proven to be high performing could/should command more than $50m BUT if we need $50m to retain AVA6k and deliver max shareholder value..... would AS deal? I think he would!

@profcheese - 100% agree, preferable not just for us the PIs but also for AS himself!! If he is confident in Precision I believe he will sell off everything in order to retain it. Selling off Animal Health is a positive sign.

If AS likes what he sees with AVA6k I would not be surprised to see him sell off Animal Health (done) and sell of Diagnostics (in progress?) in order to go all in on AVA6k - he has said himself that max shareholder value can be delivered by retaining AVA6k exclusively.

I believe this strategy is playing out. Perhaps he pulled the LFT to protect the brand.....

Bein, fair point but also. conversely, as an early stage biotech, would you sell off a division that was responsible for +/- 45% of your total revenue ( if you were not confident that transformation was taking place elsewhere)?

It certainly is looking good! I cannot recall the last time we had consecutive high % rises... If IF IF IF DE at the current level is still showing min / low side effects and IF IF IF the team of clinicians have early data confirming efficacy it is going to be difficult to keep a lid on things. I am sure big pharma will be 'in the loop'
