Not surprised though after the update yesterday. There is not any other share globally that offers the same potential which is starting to look probable !!! The rise could be phenomenal

if after 8 months the committee were yet to see any patient with an improved tumor status (eg shrinkage) then would it be ethical to carry on?

In addition to biopsies... They must also be measuring tumor size after each session?

The Board believes that the most significant near-term value driver for the Group is the clinical data from the Phase I study of AVA6000 expected in the middle of 2022. The pre|CISIONTM technology has the potential to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, improve efficacy, and create affordable oncology drugs which have the potential to significantly improve patients' lives. A positive readout from the AVA600 Phase Ia trial not only creates a significant commercial opportunity for the Group with a potentially safer form of Doxorubicin, but also immediately opens up a large and very valuable pipeline of pre|CISIONTM chemotherapy FAPa-activated drugs for development and licensing.



The Diagnostics Division is focused on delivering a pipeline of new IVD products and redeveloping the SARS-CoV-2 antigen test, to drive revenues and profitability of the business, which is the Division's primary objective, and we anticipate good progress in that regard through 2022.

Further positive guidance such as anything akin to 'motoring on extremely well' and 'remarkably consistent data' will be adequate at this stage being 8 months in with DE having occurred.

Any commentary in addition to this, such as confirming the clinical proof of concept (e.g. activation in the Tumor with limited side effects, albeit small sample size) will send us to new ATH imo and allow the market to speculate towards release of the PK Data.

I expect a positive day and very excited for the presentation.

LG Chem deal is often overlooked but it is significant as LG are progressing rapidly towards the clinic! Potential to have the Affimer in the clinic during 2022.. at no cost to Avacta. The implications to Avacta are massive if LG Chem validate affimers as being safe in human! As AS has said many times, following validation, we shall be in a position to command upfront payments in the 10s of millions for any future deals

Shame that Moderna and ADC are gone, but I feel we’re well placed with the Precision platform. For me anything coming the Affimer side is a bonus, though AffyXell does look interesting.

WHAT ABOUT LG CHEM?

From Sep 21:

LG Chem has successfully completed certain pre-clinical in-vivo models in the PD-L1/XT programme leading to the selection of a pre-clinical candidate for further development towards the clinic and triggering an undisclosed milestone payment.



The partnership also provides LG Chem with rights to develop and commercialise other Affimer® and non-Affimer biotherapeutics combined with Affimer XT® half-life extension for a range of indications and Avacta could earn up to $55m in milestone payments for each of these new products. In addition, under the agreement Avacta will earn royalties on all future Affimer XT® product sales by LG Chem.

Imagine allowing the trial to run for 8 months without any confirmation of pro dox activation in the tumor....

-De proved improved safety

-De by 50% suggests significant safety improvement

-Trial on-going after 8 months suggests activation in the Tumor

Both approaches equally valid and only possible because of REDUCED TOXICITY...

Which is why the DE announcement was a monumental moment during this trial, completely overlooked by the market due to the LFT hangover. DE was announced almost 2 months ago.... and the trial continues with reviews bi weekly.

If Avacta go into the presentation with data confirming that;

1. Pro-dox offers significantly improved tolerability (I think DE already confirmed this) and;
2. Pro-dox activated in the Tumor within the clinical setting (data confirming such)

I think it'll be fireworks next week.

Would love nothing more than a 7am Rns updating the market with positive PK and early positive guidance regarding efficacy.

Such an RNS would likely see a triple digit rise with the starting number greater than 1.

Serious risk for anyone on the sidelines as we approach release of such monumental data.

While it's still an unknown the recent updates/actions from Avacta HQ suggest positive update will come.

Dropping the LFT was a serious hint that Ava6k was going well however, triggering 3996, DE, new NED, selling off the non core business (animal health) and now a trip to the US to present AVA6K (8 MONTHS DEEP INTO CLINICAL DATA) makes it hard to deny that things must be going well!!!
