Price chart was starting to look a little too vertical for me, but selling out of ‘my own paper’ at a seven year record high is good enough. Plenty of CGT coming my way.

For me, it’s now a guessing game as to where I think the price will be in the new tax year come apr 6th. I’m leaning towards banking profits as it’s getting very over extended

Sense testing my approach has removed a lot of the emotion out of the sale process for me and I now have a clear exit strategy before the new tax year. Comfortable holding both for now, oils reaction to the SPR releases should tell you everything. US has confirmed Iran has mined the SoH. I see no end to the conflict yet, Trump can’t just up and walk away yet. I actually think the US will end up with troops on the ground. He’s in way over his head and he’s losing control of the narrative.

I believe this is the time to be greedy - this disruption is historic and oil equities aren’t really reflecting the true risk in my opinion. I sense check this view every 3-5% move either way.

Ok now I get why O&G did not move in line with oil prices. Trump has come out and said the war is almost over now and oil is down 17% for the day.

Time to stop investing in reality and invest in guessing what Trump will do next 😂

There is zero way he can pullback this week after such a large comparing in Iran. I can’t wait for the investigation into his families trading when the dems get back in. It’s going to be historic.
