tough one to work out. cant see why this hasnt risen more since the rumour of the div. Assume this will pick up post the trading update early Jan. SP tends to move in a small range so i'm watching as have cash in other more volatile shares for the SP gain that will then come across here sometime early jan to lock in the inevitable rise pre Div close on the 11th Feb

Fully expect a steady rise now with the limited trading opps before trading update - there will also be a raft of other retailers announcements around then. Price grows on anticipation.......

ah, the fun that is Boohoo.... honestly - i have Tesco shares in expectation of the special end of Feb..... thats my "safe" bet with a range of +/- 2% on the SP!

Im looking at today thinking this will hit 3.25 but has the potential to drop again - it's can i be arsed/ lucky enough to get the timing right to make 2% on the day....... and to your point at some point the drop will simply not "drop" and will keep going

Money will pour in today to the market generally - half day trade tomorrow and it will be deathly quiet. All the professionals will be putting the cash in today and going off to have a party.

I watched the "damning" vid from the guardian that doesnt have any smoking guns..... if Boohoo have done as the Guardian referenced and suspended the supplier pending investigation, job done. Thats the whole governance piece. Strange that Boo is the only named company.... well, actually not strange, poor reporting.

this will be a one year appointment i'd assume. to your point, you're more likely to get a better calibre of support than the YTS newbie thrown in.

my view is that we expect a little too much- Boohoo is an AIM company and tbh auditors are ten a penny.

news was never going to bring back the drop - the market panicked before and so much other news going on that an audit appt was never going to move the dial. Shame they couldnt have landed it with the results.

it will catch up. Most pulling cash out of other shares to then see what / where to put it. Still some nervousness as to how severe the drop as some short term memory of the dip then tumble of the markets previously. i think this will bounce well tomorrow . Then again so will shares such as Lloyds, just depends on what happens next with our own little taste of brexit with all borders closed.

frankly a testing regime will be the answer on arrival and we'll be back up and moving again.

troll or not, i can see some logic, the lockdown will drop the market but Boo likely to be the one bright spot alongside B&M and Asos. you'd be better flogging shares in traditional holdings to buy back into them although Brexit news will trump the short term .

i think most of the big investors are still playing other shares for gains post brexit then will pile in here.

the question is will the price recover quickly post the payment. they will have a much better balance sheet clearing the pension hole

Tesco -for a one off special- may not hold beyond the inevitable build to the payment. 50p on a 226p share. clear a load of balance sheet liabilities

BP - cant help think with oil creeping up now that this is massively underpriced and pays a qtrly div equiv to about 5.5%
Hsbc- will statrt to pay divis soon and price depressed due to US/ China issues

that's what i'm looking at as i'm pretty risk averse. i've seen lots of tips for "penny" shares that will fly if they come off.....

yip i use free trade and got mine this afternoon. i bought a combination of tesco and boohoo. If tesco pays the special div in Feb at 50p a share im smiling.

agreed with the build to results im happy to see this drop a little to top up then build or launch.

genuinely think the update will include positive news on auditor and agenda for change.

thats because as has been established numerous times... boo is a buyer, not an operator!

it's about setting the standards. not moving volume! this sits with the Agenda for Change best practice to demonstrate what the auditors (Not financial ones!) will be checking

not at all, the factory for me is more about setting up a "flagship" will only have about 60 machinists according to the committe this will be more about "test" learn/ train as its not gonna have huge amount of volume vs what is needed.

agree the previous December updates have been reactions to either other news (brand performance ) or market tanking. if it was going to happen it would have been yesterday - nothing is going to hit on a Friday and or next week. hold for Jan.

Lots to be positive about but there will always be with any results brief a build on positive rumour and then ....... i can guarantee it will jump up or down. Anyone who thinks they can second guess this is a genius......

My view is it will build to the results, the results will come with a positive update on Auditor, they will start to report back on Agenda for change and alongside good international growth (adding a brand or two icing on the cake) i can see this reaching 3.90 -4.10 range up to results - some will take profit then and not take a risk on result day.... not sure how brave i feel!!
