Even though I am a massive share holder of Novacyt I am still very honest with my opinions and judgement of how things are . I really do wish Novacyt BOD success and all shareholders come out without any loss of money invested. We really do need to

1. Win the DHSC case

2. BOD to invest the cash very wisely in companies that will be profit making.

3. The create a great sales force to bring in the contracts.

4. The R&D to be ahead of the game and continue to be innovative with new quick efficient diagnostic tests that are patient friendly.

I think everyone who is invested in Novacyt now realise its just a value trap and a massive gamble . It all rests on how good the board of directors are in M&A and making sure the businesses they acquire are going to be profit making . The BOD also need the right sales force with skills to generate big sales / contracts from their excellent R&D. I am 54 and was planing to retire within the next few years , but because I have invested so much of my own money into Novacyt and currently losing it as it stands , it means I will have to work a lot more years now. Novacyt was and is a value trap for investors now.

Valju , exactly , I have not seen this admin notification previously . It suggests to me Novacyt are desperate for votes. Mind you they always get enough votes to push their resolutions through. Have they got enough shares through institutional investors ?

ValJu, I am looking to average down , but the price has to be good for me to be tempted to even contemplate investing more of my money into this . Its a total gamble , and I am not a gambling man at all. I don't feel trusting of Lynn Rees with the way he trashed Yourgene shareholders , but yet he escaped without a scratch as he negotiated with Novacyt the exact bail out price that suited him .

Yes I used all my 108,128 shares to vote last Monday through HL .

I don't believe anyone going negative or positive will affect this SP . I reckon the traders and MMs are playing with the share. This SP is dictated by what is happening in French stock market as they have 70% of the shares compared to AIM.

ValJu , to tell you the truth i am very very very annoyed with myself investing in Novacyt as i was not aware of how badly performing board of directors were at Novacyt . I got fooled by Graham Mullus who basically hyped up the share by stating this company would be mid cap , this was when he gave the interview in October 2020 . The fact that Novacyt won a huge 500M contract gave me the impression they were going places . It came all as a shock this DHSC dispute . I have invested £660K of my own savings here and have more or less written it off now . I am not relaxed at all , far from it . Just imagine what i could have done with £660K .

I wonder how important this LTIP is for these BOD @ Novacyt ? or will they just be satisfied with their inflated annual salary for under performing year in year out till the cash is burnt .

Larry10 , there was no mention of this LTIP yesterday . They have a deadline of December 2024 to achieve at least SP of £3.24

Any thoughts this could be a reverse takeover because as it stands Yourgene's revenue is far significant than Novacyt prior to acquisition . If Yourgene is bringing in contracts there is only going to be one outcome and that is LR will be CEO of Novacyt .

I noticed that they put CEO next to LR . I suspect he will be officially revealed as CEO within next 6 months if yourgene starts bringing in good contracts.

Do we think the BOD are just b*llsh*tting regarding this £100M organic revenue and stringing everyone along ?

I would liked have known how they are getting on towards their £100M organic revenue and achieving their LTIP by December 2024 . But did they answer ?

The problem with Novacyt is that it is a loss making company as it stands , burning money at a alarming rate and not generating enough profit . How long will this cash last ? Yourgene needs to be turned around dramatically with its high cost rate otherwise that will burn Novacyt's cash surplus .

My gut feeling is that the next acquisition will be clonit . Won't be too expensive to buy them out .

Why is the spread so big , 5p difference is ridiculous

Its all about risk : rewards . What I have learned in life is that you don't get anywhere without taking some risk as long as it doesn't ruin you or kill you .

If you guys are waiting for the DHSC resolution , what if Novacyt lose the case ? The RNS will cause immediate crash of SP to around 10p or under . We lose all our money invested in here basically. So if you are prepared to lose your investment then hold .

It will be a lot easier to exit this share if your average is £1 - £2 , but for those > £5 maybe tough ride
