Traders = Piranha Fish

Since April 2021 Novacyt have created such a bad reputation with their poor public relations that its a trader infested stock . Traders are like Piranha fish . Any sniff of blood and they come storming in for the bite and scraping every flesh they can scrape off

So when there is any positive RNS , even if its confirmation of a product certification the Piranha fish - traders come storming in . Yesterday's RNS was nothing special , we all knew about this product and it was already priced in the share. We already knew it was available and in the market.

The fact is its the naive investor with little experience of AIM that reads about a particular RNS or company and then invests his / her hard earned cash into the shares , that investment ultimately gets taken away by traders that sell up leaving the naive investor ( long term holder ) trapped with a high average . This is how I got trapped at £6.10p ever since April 2021.

Today is an example where traders pile in following a RNS and SP shoots up over a RNS that just states a product has certification. It doesn't state any winning contract , it doesn't state that the company is increasing revenue. The fact is traders pump up the SP on such a RNS and when it reaches its peak will just sell off and take the cash from those investors that are investing for long term. Its been a rinse & repeat ever since April 2020 with this share. The winners are traders , the lovers are those long term holders. This is how I got trapped at £6.10p and been there ever since 2020.

No one asked(@ AGM ) the BOD about their LTIP and if they were confident of reaching the SP for this. This is what I would have asked as it would have given my insight of their ambitions for next year .

What are we expecting with their LTIP , just over 12 months to go now to get to at least £3.54

HC i think its called Rinse & Repeat , which is AIM and unfortunately for me i had to learn the hard way to learn about AIM

What i don't understand was the 25% SP rise last week on 1/11/23 with what exactly news ???????? I didnt see porky9 or ggg21 hyping up anything anywhere

I suspect this share will drift until next news which will be end of January . When directors start buying up shares then we can assume some confidence that something is happening . The fact that not even the directors are buying at the moment tells me they are waiting for something . I don't believe its closed off for them to buy now because AGM is completed now .

Good thoughts HC , but are these current BOD upto that high level skills to achieve 10x Mcap of £350M ? I doubt it. Y

So where have all these guys in particular OptimisticGuy & PI100 disappeared to ? Are you both still predicting this SP will be 30p -20p before year end hey ?

PI100 , you would think JW was a lorry driver not a chairman bossing a 25M Cap company . Maybe thats why JW is in full control of the speed of direction Novacyt take .....

This share is controlled and unpredictable . Its depends on which way the wind blows and what the traders want to do . No logic , not for LTH ,. Its just a traders share . Something i have painfully learned at my financial expense .

Is there anything in papers or internet to suggest why the SP is pumped ? No

Have the BOD released any information ? No

Looks like traders bought in again in France . This is nothing more than a traders share which is supported by very poor management .

What do people on here think about this , should Graham Mullis have stayed on has CEO @ Novacyt ? He did hype up the share in October 2020 by stating Novacyt would be a mid cap company . He did walk away with £10M and leaving shareholders in a black hole whist he sailed off with the money . But the fact is ever since his April 2020 RNS regarding the DHSC dispute the company have been in freefall. Surely , he must have known more details several months about the situation with the DHSC before he officially notified the stock market in April 2020. So did he mislead shareholders ? We wasted valuable time between GM notifying that he was stepping down from CEO ( or was he pushed out by JW ) until David Allmond was appointed which was 6 months later . Then we wasted 18 months whilst David Allmond was appointed. So to be Frank this company has not been ran by high calibre directors. My thinking is if Graham Mullis was kept on has CEO would he have accelerated Novacyt organic growth trajectory better than this existing BOD have done due to his existing knowledge of Novacyt and molecular diagnostic industry . David Allmond had no prior experience as a CEO or experience in molecular diagnostic industry so it was a steep learning curve for him when taking the job which turned out to be far too big of a job for him. JW has a lot to answer with whats happened with the dismissal of GM and appointment of DA.

It's clear the BOD at Novacyt are weak and reflected by the poor sales performance post covid. The appointment of David Allmond was a waste of 18 months of clear direction and organic growth.

It doesn't give you much confidence in JM with the fact he back tracks on his £100M organic growth which he clearly stated in Q1 2022 . He is an accountant so should be sharp with his figures. What else is he misleading shareholders with now is the question ? Can we trust this man in charge as CEO ?
