IMO (sad to say as it is) the virus has presented the wily investor with another opportunity. This time it is market wide, and not just Horizonte, so fair enough all the money might not flood in here.
Personally I'm not going to be positioned to take much advantage now as we need to keep remaining funds free to see our own business through the economic ramifications and maybe other PIs will be in similar positions - either already fully invested here or elsewhere, or indeed looking for bargains.
What's clear is that there will be 'smart money' on the sidelines ready for the re-start. This could be money from the middle east, China, elswehere, which knows a bargain when it sees one - and the current markets are a bargain to be had. Whether these players invest indirectly through funds like Orion, or directly in the underlying companies themselves, the money will find a home and it will find a home in future projects which are much needed by the world and world economy. The smart money will be liking the current prices and at the point where the crisis starts to turn we could see large and rapid investment into fundamentally undervalued assets.
