I have gone for a pharma gamble not normally my bag but lets see. Not seeing anything going in a straight line but hopefully horizonte more up than down and we will get there eventually. Can see 3p+ here quite easily. If $14k/t seen this quarter expect it to pop here.

waiting for a buying opp presently. Spread still a bit too large for my liking. Will watch and wait! Patience not my strongest suit but I've seen opportunities missed by not having cash so will try and sit in cash for a wee while.

Per annum presumably. Our total reserves would supply that new requirement for between 3 and 6 years then.

Undeniable there is a huge potential here but can it be unlocked. We can only unlock it if we build a mine, and in an ideal scenario, to coincide with a squeeze in supply and increase in demand. I'm pinning my hopes on an improved Nickel price in Q2 to Q3 this year giving sufficient momentum to get financing done. If so, and with a solution to the pandemic next year, hopefully we can still be producing by 2022 (latest 2023). That would be spot on, as they say in my locality.

Can anybody confirm this is a straight 20% (on profit or sale of assets)?

So my take on it would be the value of MT sold, less 20%, is available for distribution. If then the company distribute a % of this as dividend. So maximum special div value is sale value less 20% tax divided by number of shares?

I@m not sure I fully understand the 'tax on dividend' question. Unless I'm mistaken, company might pay taxes (in Russia) on sale of asset or profit on sale of asset in the jurisdiction in which an asset is sold. After such tax(es) it can distribute dividends on what remains from the sale. These will be in GBP for listing on the AIM. We individuals will pay tax on dividends (unless held in SIPP or ISA in which case we don't). That's my take on it. Amount of dividend we pay then depends on people's circumstances - other income and how much total dividend in year etc.

That's probably the best news (if it plays out) we can hope for. If it is Ni price which will determine finance/no finance then this should be very supportive of Ni price as long as Indo/Philippines remain on limited production. Perhaps a high enough nickel price in H2 to get financing away. We should probably know by mid year if steel output is back to expected levels in China.

Lets hope progress on financing has been made (in addition to the Orion financing).

Only reason I'd be happy with 10p right now is if I can take a darboard with other shares on it and buy with the proceeds. Pretty sure that strategy will work fine once we hit the wider low (maybe not yet but in months to come). Obviously wouldn't have airlines and the like on it. I'm rubbish at darts anyway so maybe the good prospect likely companies would be pinned outside the board in case I miss.

I'd love there to be a low ball bid (which was rejected by the board). Would put a rocket under the SP and tell the other potential finance partners like the IIs on the books if they want their continued slice of pie they have to dip their hands in pockets for the equity dough. Surely would ensure a higher price finance deal on financing if it proceeded it. Wouldn't like the lowball bid to succeed though.

I would have thought potential equity partners (at minimum the IIs on the books) would have already been approached for an 'in principle' interest if nothing more binding while the other aspects of the finance are negotiated. So in that sense they are already aware presumably of some of the parameters. Does that now mean they possibly can't buy on the open market even if they wanted to?

question - could an II who has been approached for financing discussions buy on open market? Presumably nothing legally to stop that from happening? So Mr Teck gets approached to see if they are interested in participating in the financing round, they give the nod (and are comfortable financing will proceed), at same time buy on open market?

I agree - never been able to place a 1.5m share sell with my broker for confirmed price but could yesterday. Yet we don't see where they go. Being soaked up somewhere.

Anyone got a view what negative oil price might do to other commodities - like nickel? It is a weird situation but my feeling is it is supportive - investments that rely on oil might look for alternatives? It might also accelerate the shift away and marginal cost producers might close down? Hard to see at the moment how oil won't be at a depressed prices for a while to come. The low cost producers might weather the pain to put higher cost producers out of business and there are geopolitical games also being played?

I was offered 2.34p for 1.5m shares in one transaction - around £35k. Never had that on a sell (obviously I didn't sell). That and the fact they took 500k off you at so close to Ask bodes very well I think. Buyer around...

Still about ~20p short of my price though.

They'll take 1m shares off me for 2.3p confirmed price (so 0.1p above published bid). Not that I'm selling any. They want the shares!

Let the traders take their profit - absolutely no problem with that and indeed it may stagnate or even move the SP backwards somewhat. A 20% gain is not to be sniffed at even if we have to give some of it up. It suggests we will move firmly on positive news.

I have my eyes on 200% gain from todays SP on financing. My total focus is probability and timing of financing now. I am starting to believe it could be sooner than I initially feared due to the pandemic (my initial guess was, maybe not this year, now looks not unreasonable to believe favourable enough economic situation for this year).

Traders might be happy with the 20%, I'm here for the x3 gain this year from todays price, and hopefully the further x3 on top of that compounded at production - so x9 from todays price. But Rome wasn't built in a day! And as you say it won't be a straight line.
