We saw a bit of churn at 5p but really not that much in the end then it popped with ease. Could see similar at 6p?

As I posted the other day I see 7p as being a nice psychological target as everyone will believe £100mcap any dilution is still upside from there post financing. So 7p as a short term target is still very much in play and I can see people adding up to that level. After that, without news who knows but I'll be surprised if we don't get to 7p at least in September now (or at this rate, by Friday).

I'm being offered above 6p to sell. Not many though.
Presumably we need to clear some more profit taking. Can't blame them too much - been a good run up to 6p. Going to be an even better run up to post financing though.

I have no doubt at all that Vermelho will make a very very profitable ferronickel mine. Should the buyer choose that route. Given that Glencore are one of the top ferronickel producers in the world that would be of interest to them. Lets see if they buy more shares soon (through the finance placing).

Looks like retail churn to me in these days. I periodically check to see if I could sell 1m shares and it is rare they'll give me a quote. So not seeing the big buyer being filled. What the hell are they waiting for? Or maybe they are happy to take small sales to fill. At least the equity partners could be taking a few now on the sly. They'll be paying a lot more at placing time.

If Elon can't quite get rid of pesky cobalt from the best battery and cobalt is truly a hard resource to source ethically and in sufficient quantity then you actually can't rule out a move on Vermelho.

I would have 0 complaints if Tesla took a 25% stake with perhaps a miner with proven expertise of HPAL for the other 25% (or maybe more) to help build the plant. Tesla being stakeholder/customer and contributing capex, other partner providing technical expertise and perhaps spared from capex, Horizonte retaining a percentage of the profit. Even a 33%/33%/33% or similar.

Tesla could have a binding offtake to supply all the cobalt with a decent share of the Nickel. Rest of the nickel can be sold into the market. Of course if Tesla want to commit to first 10 years of production to be purchased, that works just fine too provided the price is indexed against a benchmark nickel pricing.

Lots of variations but I wonder if Cobalt is too hard to eliminate completely then we could be understating Vermelho's appeal on that factor alone.

my mates were laughing when I said I only invest in stocks priced 3.xp. For so many months my 3 shares were all stuck at or around exactly the same sp. With move on acp this morning only PERE is languishing! Hopefully one or more of mine into double digits in 2020. GLA, whatever your risk spread and whatever your ambitions!

AIM - I agree if Horizonte intend to become a major producer. But if the intent is to sell I don't think that would happen. Keep Vermelho and keep dangling it till the offer comes. Next news on Vermelho will show us the path - are Horizonte conducting the permitting or do we get the JV. If Horizonte then -> heading to sale. All IMO.

jimmy my feeling is selling none of it. Selling it as part of total co sale. Getting it to permitted as best as can, with Araguaia at or near production. Then offering the whole co. All IMO

'Overweight' HZM doesn't really begin to describe it :) The question would become what to do if Horizonte is sold as a job lot, but it would be a nice problem to have.
