RE: Sareum might not have a future!27 Dec 2025 14:57
As we approach yet another new year, I have tried to rationalise our present situation in a balanced way but it has proved to be remarkably difficult to produce anywhere near a 50/50 good point/bad point ratio.
Over the years we have been treated to a plethora of technobabble coherent only to those who have a working knowledge of the subject or to those who have been patient enough to go into reams of research on the subject.
We have been told that we are “best in class” in that our products produce far less side effects than other similar products.
We have been told, constantly, that a search is ongoing for licensing partners. To that end 737 has been farmed out twice to no avail and is still in limbo as far as we know. As for 1801 nobody knows.
Following on from the information lacunae in the previous para we have been told that the BoD’s appalling record on communicating with shareholders will improve. To my mind it has not
Management changes have taken place TM to concentrate on what he is good at and SP now as Chairman, both ostensibly to speed our rate of progress. When SP was appointed in May 2016 TM stated “…. brings with him a wealth of financial and industry experience which will be crucial to the business as we look towards the next stages of our transformation into a clinical-stage development company."
When he came on board our shares stood at around 85p: they now stand at 14p.Since his appointment numerous SP dilutions and a couple of near disastrous forays into the finance market have taken place to continue funding not only clinical matters but also quite generous remuneration and bonuses for the BoD.
We have suffered two disastrous attempts at clinical testing, but the detailed reasons for the failure of same remain shrouded in mystery.
I say this in all seriousness, if one of the more knowledgeable contributors to this BB can have a look at the above and tell me I am barking entirely up the wrong tree and the massive slant toward bad points is totally unwarranted, then I will be glad to stand corrected and probably learn something in the process.
On the other hand if anybody is tempted to lapse into vitriol or abuse perhaps they could resist the temptation to put it in writing.
Finally, I must add the caveat that I hope I am proved totally wrong in my assumptions and that 2026 will be the year an enormous rabbit puts in an appearance.
GLA and best wishes for the New Year.
