What Sharelock is posting is fact based on what has been said in RNS's rather than the spurious rumours you are trying to spread. We've had enough of people claiming to be in the know etc lets just wait and see what comes out in RNS's

mcadder, yes he is there for a reason, and that is to get paid his salary, as that is his sole mechanism for reward.

I agree the potential here is huge IF they pull it off, but as it stands now none of the employees / senior management have any skin in the game or mechanism for rewarding success ? In my mind this needs to change quickly, ideally something like options at a value above 1p with an aggressive expiry date that would force some level of urgency into the business, as that is what appears to be missing.

Having met Graham at the AGM he came across as very amicable & personable which is the polar opposite to Minty, Graham also gave a great talk about how he had heard what the shareholders had to say about the lack of deliverables and the poor comms, to which he promised to change. Now while you could argue the case that he has only been in post 3 months I would say that in that time, and from the outside looking in nothing has changed ?

All he has done is enabled a tranche of new investors to get in a lot lower than those being fed the same story over the last few years, personally I am fortunate to have 1st purchased way below the high but there are plenty that didn't. There is only a limited number of PI's and if they continue to act as they do they will run out of people willing to believe that they can pull a deal off, they need to understand the market & investors differently.

With all that said I continue to hold, as my own thought process makes me feel that they have to land something soon, as due to the last placing fiasco they are really limited on doing that again, and therefore for them all to remain in employment ( and Minty makes his buckets of cash ) they need to complete a deal. Clearly the noise is around GTW with a whiff of Brazil but we have been hearing these noises now for around 2 years so when someone comes on here new with a line such as ' I won't say much more ' eludes to you having more information than is known in the open market I tend to ignore it.

I would suggest that you don't stake too much on that as ultimately these have always been Minty whispers and none of those have ever come true ! But if it does transpire that you are correct then I will be happy to be wrong.

Everyone always dives on the negative of a placing, however if done for the right reasons in the right way it is beneficial in the longer term.

However I would state that some of the numbers in the SP article are incorrect, especially as he has included the 1 off costs in Opex to make the cash burn look far worse than we know it is. Also with the recent appointments to the advisory committee having vast experience in funding hyper growth technical companies I would expect us to go down that route SHOULD we need funding.

With the AGM coming so soon & the fact that James is aware of the article then I am sure this spurious article will prove to be nothing more than a fictitious story

Agree, and I certainly would not be buying on any whispers or rumours from anyone, as we all know where they start.

That said, if you look at the logic from the likes of Sharelock then that is a different reason to invest.

They need to get this broker note out and give some indication of financial performance to reenergise the SP

Colin's only real care is that he can create a story that enables him to get a placing sorted to pay his salary, he has no interest or incentive to create a sound business, he also doesn't have the ability to do it. He has now got away with this for so many years it has become a habit and the easy way out for him as there is no consequence to him for doing this.

What my time in AST has taught me is a rigid set of principles to invest in and now sticking to that my PF is looking a lot healthier, it will also mean I won't be adding to my free carry in here.

You may well be correct, but its is an approach that would mean we progress further without dilution, which would be a big bonus for me, even the smaller new opportunities mentioned in the RNS would cover our operating costs as let's not forget how lean the company is !

Interesting that there has been unsolicited approaches for Fram In in Tunisia, that could be lovely on its own, then theres also the mention of Petrnoas in Sarawack, I do wonder if there is a chance that Petronas is one of the parties interested in Tunisia ?

win4call, totally agree with the fact his reputation is as you describe it, but when URU went on its spectacular rise he was seen as being able to do something, since its decline then his reputation has followed suit but added to by the debacle of ANR & MRS.

Personally speaking I hope that he is somehow caught for what damage has done and some of his activities are discovered deemed to be illegal and dealt with accordingly, but I really doubt that will happen, he will wriggle out of it. Failing that I really do wish him some form of pain or bad luck that stays with him for a very very long time.

However for me there is the over riding factor that Minty is a greedy sod who wants as much as he can get. As it stands the best way for him to get that is from completing a deal, while he has managed to extract a nice lifestyle from this, as well as Damian it certainly hasn't been a life changing amount, that will only come from the business succeeding which is ultimately what he is trying to do. Just not in a way that share holders feel comfortable with.

As to how we have got to this situation. I do believe that the actions leading up to the AGM has led there to be a further, and unhealthy, division between the board & the Share holders. As none of the BOD / Employees have either shares or options the pain in SP decline is only felt by shareholders. Hence the debt for equity deal from Minty realigning this to some extent.

My belief is that Zorbas only knows 1 way to operate and that is to wring the PI community for as much of their cash as he can, its done behind an elaborate back drop of a supposedly valuable asset that never develops and the lack of transparency offered to him by being based in Cyprus.

There is a myriad of companies & a close knit circle of people that irrespective of the business he brings in, its a classic rinse & repeat mode of operation.

The reason we haven't had any updates is that he's done nothing to progress proving the asset up, he's used URU to get into MRS and he's been focussed on milking that to his own benefit, but it appears he has been caught out by the blatant nature of what they are alleged to have done.

His track record is spectacularly dismal, NYO, ANR, NWT / CCC and now MRS all being complete failures my fear is that URU will be his last foray into AIM before his reputation means he can't convince anyone of anything
