Agree, I have moved away from the hype trade type stocks over the last 3 months & now only hold stocks that fit a minimum of 4 ' qualification ' questions I have, it certainly has removed the volatility from my PF and slowly its in recovery mode, but each step of recovery is getting larger as each week goes by.

Its typical that the uptrend that we have seen here doesn't appear to be attracting as much coverage as we did pre placing, I guess the short term traders have had there feed from here and are now happy to let the business / SP grow

From my experience I think that we need to understand if there is a compelling event that can be leveraged to conclude a deal, once you've established that then we need to understand if that event has a fixed time line, as otherwise without those the deals will just drift ? Now if we can position ourselves as the only option then we have a strong hand to play, but to date I fear that whilst technically we have a very compelling proposition that generates interest & conversation but to date we haven't had the right person to close a deal.

That said I do believe that dialogue is ongoing with interested parties that have a desire to conclude a deal, but there is some good old sales process to go through to close a deal.

Lets hope that Graham is able to offer that ability

It's worth following @milessi on twitter as heads up Sports Interactive that are behind the FM title, they are in essence the anchor client for BIDS, I happen to know Miles personally through a shared passion for football and when I spoke to him some 2 months ago he was very complimentary about what BIDS are doing and how they are going about it, but the most interesting thing is that he commented that as far as he was aware nobody are talking to them about what BIDS can do or are planning on doing

I guess it is how you choose to calculate the valuation, hence you will get a range, also with Tech like this first mover advantage is an immense advantage that BIDS appear to be making the most of, all the titles they are signing up are AAA studio games & on multi year agreements.

I believe that at some point the financial firepower will be aimed at BIDS but in an attempt to acquire it rather than compete with it, if you think laterally not only is this attractive to the gaming industry but also the advertising industry, so the major players in this space are the likes of Microsoft, Google & WPP imagine the bun fight between them !

NI - I think you need to widen your field of view, rightly or wrongly tech companies buck the trend on valuation when compared to your more traditional stocks, take a look at the likes of Blue Prism & Uber as great examples of this ?

Take a look at the data on the market that BIDS are active ( leading ) in, the projected revenues in the Video games is 150bn usd for context the film industry is forecast 43bn & VR is at 1.2bn. The younger generations are more into their games than films. If you then take into account the fact that there is £6m cash in the bank which at current burn rate is 18 months so draw this forward to 12 months to cover the increase with the additional resources joining. The other point is that by then we will have at least 3 titles up & running and even in its early life FM19 was generating £300k a qtr. In all the updates James has been very confident on achieving the forecasted revenues and becoming break even around October.

You may well get dips in the rise but with the strength of buying in some sizable chunks yesterday I would say that some serious & well researched buying is going on, probably people catching up with the story via the people seeing who is being assembled on the advisory board

Bournewolf, I would beg to differ, there is plenty of snippets out there as to what is going on and the potential for BIDs, not all of it is in RNS you need to look at the space that BIDS are defining then look at the potential, I would agree with you if this was your traditional AIM company but that would be like comparing Apples to Pears, as the saying goes !

I tend to agree with Brooko that £100m mcap would be the next real staging post for us although we clearly won't go up in a straight line so potential to buy on an dips is what I am looking for

What really excites me is the news recently that the Loot Box model a lot of games like Candy Crush rely on for their revenues is being called to made illegal in the US, so they will need to replace that revenue line really quickly, which is perfect for BIDS to exploit

Really do feel that I was lucky to get into this back in October and happy to hold for a long time to come, particularly excited for the next few months as it all starts to come together and the story becomes reality & revenue !

best bet is to follow @SharePickers on twitter then you'll get all the content they create, they've been on the front foot with BIDS for some time now & on Voxmarkets theres a whole back catalogue of information that gives you an idea of whats coming, suggest you go back at least 6 month to get the whole picture

If you're using a football analogy I would say we are more akin to Blackpool or Bolton Wanderers but with some great young players coming through our academy that apparently will be the next Neymar, Messi, Hazard, Salah & Harry Kane. The only issue is that no one has seen or heard of any of these players, other than via social media content with their faces obscured out & no names
