I do feel for those that Minty has clearly lied to over the years and would love to see a scenario where the PI's gain at Minty's expense and by that I mean Damian as well as Alan. But I do fear that they have royally shafted us all with their continual deceit in terms of activity and likely conclusion of real business. Quite simply I don't believe any of them are able to close a deal other than a placing.

It's clearly been a case that Colin well knew that buying shares in AST would have been a bad investment therefore he didn't do it. If the new regime don't buy then I would say its fairly likely that things will progress as before just the monthly salaries will go to new homes

Preemo, that sounds like you are referring to Nigel that is no longer a director as he tried to stand up to Alan & keep him in some form of order, Nigel left last year but I believe has continued to hold the shares, he attended the board meeting.

Specifically I would say that the blame rests squarely at the feet or Snr & Jnr Minty, then more recently Graham & Simon, there is also a case that you include Alison in there as in their collective tenure they have got through / taken from the company over £40m and delivered nothing & created no revenue just a load of false promises that they couldn't deliver, probably as they don't exist.

Its a sham of a company designed to raise cash on AIM to fund their salaries - end of.

Cobra, I have previously defended him with exactly the same perspective as you, which is correct, but on top of that what he does is not great at all, the wording that he uses is naive and not in shareholders best interests, the quality of his outputs are poor. He is either extremely naive, incompetent or a very convincing liar. There is no clarity in strategy of communications or " themes " to it, it is all sporadic & reactive.

My point is that as we have NO revenue is it really best to pay for a full time Investor Relations person, especially when as you say there is nothing to talk about through either a cut & paste email or a bespoke email ?

I can't recall the last time he did anything of value, all of the latest comms are littered with ill thought wording / sentiment. My personal favorite was the one that he was delighted to be able to raise funds & dilute for share holders. He can't use social media properly, how many times does he forget the # ? And don't get me started on the Podcast qualities let alone content or timeliness in issuing ?

I have been calling them out for about 18 months on lack on director buying in but he never gives a straight answer.

He is now a complete farce and adds no value to the business and by him remaining employed further damages the credibility, who in their right mind keeps a Comms person on full time when cash is not there ? I would rather that teh salary paid to him ( not earned ) is paid to someone that increases the chance of closing a deal, not writing pathetic & inaccurate comms.

I can only conclude that either he is Minty's love child or he has incriminating evidence against him

Well, hopefully now the fool has done what he should have done 3 years ago the company can kick on & deal with things in a professional manner.

Gary, as I said recently ( & I can't believe I'm saying it ) I agree with you, this is looking like the most likely result, which in itself is a big negative, what compounds this is that in all the comms from the company they really do believe that things are improving & progressing - they really are devoid of reality

Now lets see what happens here & when the inevitable placing comes, its all a case of what happens at the same time, will it be the holy grail of a deal or the more likely consolidation to enable the placing to tale place - it really is a roll of the dice from here

I am afraid that is the whole point of AIM, as it gives a company the ability to raise cash, which is what's needed to develop.

The challenge then is that they spend it wisely. Due to the fact that NONE of the BOD have any real skin in the game ( I don't accept the deffered wages slant ) then they really don't care about the SP as it is just a vehicle to for them to siphon cash from PI's to their own pockets, they've done this with the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow scenario, just so happens they've changed the pot every couple of years with the current fable being G2W, with a background murmuring of Brazil.

With all of that said I believe that we are close to the end of the journey, in that the impending raise will be their last.

Simon is incompetent, and is just there as a shield to the vitriol previous aimed at Minty, and now Graham for the continued non delivery, he is completely deluded as he feels the company is making progress. Continuing to make that statement totally confirms that NONE of them have any idea or care for share holders, returning share holder value has never been on their radar.

Graham is full of hot air and really just a new version of Minty without the RMRI backdoor benefit to him.

Damian is a chip off the old block and in his role should have mitigated the risk of us being here by at least placing when above 1p and avoiding the carnage that's ensued.

What is the benefit to NUOG in having this myriad of companies ? as it appears that the only benefit is to charge between & take into a private company, maybe the benefit is to milk NUOG then let it go pop for MFDEVCO to sweep in and take all the cash going forward ?

It is 50/50 if the activity we are seeing today is forward selling of placing or a large holder calling it a day, we won't know for a few days either way.

For me I have taken the crazy decision to top up a couple of times today as it has massively reduced my average & should they actually do something then I can exit here sooner than previously thought.

This company has really opened my eyes to just how low in terms of morals, capability, competency, decency and integrity some people are. I just hope 1 day they all get their fair dose of karma

Starbuck911 - having met Sharelock I can't agree with your view of him. I feel that his posts always gave the logic from official communications as to why he felt the say that he did. It was those that had been sucked in by Minty's loose lips and then spouting off with confidence bordering on arrogance that I take challenge with as to what their motives are

If only we had a decent Finance Director / CFO that managed the finances in a risk adverse way. He clearly knew what was going on and he should have taken care of all of this back in January, but no we have the son of the legend who will have known fully that there was nothing in the pipeline but chose to ignore that & let us drift to where we are now.

They should of dealt with this with some foresight & strategic thinking rather than the tactical way they have been to date.

For me the whole scenario is summed up by someone far more intelligent than I, a certain Mr Einstein and his quotation of insanity - " Insanity : Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome.

I do find it amusing that those that historically have been happy to give their thoughts on deals defiantly happening and deals being concluded appear to have departed. I will hold my hands up and say that I made a mistake investing here but it was an ill informed decision, had I know the full scenario I wouldn't have invested

In any other company they would have been fired for incompetence & non delivery.

I don't hold MRS, I did but sold out some time back as sick to the back teeth with the mode of operation from primarily Zorbas & Hogan, and while they are involved I will continue to stand on the sidelines, as I know may others will. They've lied & deceived too many people on AIM for too long. Their history shows you that they are incapable of building a creditable business that delivers long term share holder value. They are deal makers with the sole purpose to increase their personal wealth no matter how they do that. This is typified by the Alerion deal that is scandalous that they have got away with, and by doing so it is my belief that they have benefited from the deal which somewhat negates the SP movement.

My guess is that there are so many inflated & creative charges going from MRS that route back to Canada, Cyprus or Swansea that more than covers the cost of any shares they may or may not hold, after all who knows what they are actually holding.

If they both moved on & took their puppet with them I'd expect a very strong bounce & then some things would actually get completed, like the re-financing deal which is a no brainer to implement
