S - GGP up 1p in last few minutes!

Same position as you on Plus, still have 3 tranches all in 1400's! My problem is low trading cash until I move the plus on - already sold one at at a loss! don't want to hold until divi really!!!

News update for Newcrest / GGP due overnight, so some usual price movement likely in the morning. I'll keep the spare shares until then i think!

Has Plus found a new trading range - 1330 - 1370 !!

S - Watching SNG, if it drops a bit more will buy back, say somewhere in the 160's would be nice. I feel it's found a new base level circa 170 though.
GP - Not sold the cheaper shares yet - had a chance at high 29's but wanted 30p, need about 29p to cover the loss on selling Plus to get the GGP ! They are moving the right way today.

S - I'll join you in the happy room now, sold 1/4 of the SNG including the rights issue at 190.8, for 15% profit. Nice.

S - Not bad. Had an offer of 190.6, didn't take it, then no live trade when I went to sell! NO idea why the limit sell had failed, maybe price moving too fast? Hopefully back over 190 soon and the cheaper trading SNG can go for a nice profit.

S - yes, SNG hit 191, couldn't get a trade and the limit sell at 185 didn't go off!

Shut down by police, organisers fined £10,000 ( hopefully each! ) and many guests ( who didn't run away as many did! ) hit with the £800 fine.
Just as news announced R rate down to 0.8-1.0 in London and SE.

T - Watched PLUS continually slide down, didn't consider selling - was yesterday at over 1370, still a loss but could have bought back today, although I expected the 2 day rise to continue!
Most other shares down.

S - still got my cheaper SNG / SYN ... and the placing shares .. waiting to sell the 2 once over the offer price. Was going to trade these but held on as only saw 172....

Seems lots of positive talk on SNG BB, based on Biden's prospectus page 11 ... accelerate theraputics! So they expect price to keep rising.

PLUS steady after the early rise, hope it keeps up!

Looking to spend my ill gotten profits on a PS5, electric assisted bike, Tesla etc ..... so just need to make some more profit now!

Not against new hardware - laptop is quite new and powerful although for it's use at the time I didn't need a big screen ( sorting out the car ECU or looking for errors! ) so 14.something" it is. Only really ned a bigger screen / faster graphics processor I think....

I like Macs - better than PC's, just a lot more expensive for a good one.
I prefer my desktops ( and not just 'cos I can build a super one for less to my own spec ) just more useful to me. I suppose if you got used to IT / PC's on a laptop that would be more natural to you.

Only limit is I have to be in same room as the PC ... although if I use the tablet I don't stare at it if watching Bloomberg / the BBC news etc. all the time, so perhaps audible alerts would be useful there.

Enjoy the wine / cheese on toast ( rump steak salad for me tonight! ).

M - new major vaccination centre opened at Saints rugby league ground .. doesn't help you really but saves me going to Widnes ground!!!

C - Yes, I topped up a fair few GGP this morning, and bought back SYME yesterday at 0.48p, so quite good there!

T - Don't mind at all! I don't find the touchpad accurate enough on a 15" screen even though the laptop is pretty fast - 8GB, AMD Ryzen 5 something, SSD disk drive etc.
And the txt is pretty small, the HL window does not fir the screen without scrolling.
I only have 1 full screen ON screen, but many tabs open to flick between - portfolio summary, watchlist, Brigade, and a screen for each share of interest / invested in... and need to switch between them quickly to update ( HL updates live proces BUT not the charts - need to manually refresh ).
So laptop OK for a quick look, phone really just to watch p/folio.
As S said - I am scary focussed today! Watched screen all day, with only a few mins away for a brew, toilet stop, answer door for delivery etc.!!! I recognise that need esp.like today on GGP or previously on ASC, CCL etc.

S - On HL the alerts only come via e-mail, probably a few minutes after, and if my mail programme doesn't update then it may be 20 mins before it auto does it or if I do it. As you I prefer proper input tools and bigger screen.

M - well done on the trades!
