RIP Captain Sir Tom Moore. What a guy! Did you know he was on Blankety Blank with Terry Wogan many tears ago!

Sold my low priced GGP in the ISA at 28.1 for a 15.2% profit. Nice, covered the loss on the Plus I sold to buy them, and some!
If they fall back, buy back spike and shake and put the freshness back ....

Nice to see Plus back in lower mid 1430's ... a bit more and we're getting into profit there too.
That will release trading funds!!

Silver seems to falling back now, Reddit crew realised some banks short silver, others long on silver, so to avoid either making lots they stopped attacking it!

Gamestop likely people now sold up or bored and moved on .....

M & S - Plus still moving up!

S - I used Dividendmax website, forecasts dates and expected divi from financials and previous dates. Not too far off.
If still holding Plus by then may was well get a divi. the Plus LSE page I think mentioned $2 a share!! which is nice but high, although they had a good year until Q4 so maybe ...

Guess we'll soon see!

Morning all,

R - good news on your daughter. The other half works in school for the supposed only key workers kids - yet had 60% kids back in this lockdown!! Several staff have tested positive so off to isolate, a couple had the disease, and a few of the kids/parents tested positive and whole class sent to isolate. They have home lateral flow test kits to test themselves twice a week, and weird work times to minimise exposure, separate kids, stagger lunch and play times etc. Not due for a jab until after April I think.

I see the GGPers are growing! And recent buys should be in nice profit now, and more to come hopefully!

And Plus! Continuing the rise. is it spike/shake time, or is the 1370-1380 he new base level?? Remember ex-divi date this month, I **think** it is around 18th Feb, usually rises to the date then falls back an equivalent amount of the divi. ( forecast 73.8 p/share, paid 28 June ).

p/f looking mush healthier today just from GGP and Plus recoveries, at least 10% up on yesterday just from that. So an unbalanced portfolio and 2 holdings more long term - SNG and GGP.

CEO of GGP ( GH - outgoing! ) has just ( at 13:45 today ) bought 500,000 shares at 22.4p. Delayed RNS.

Showing confidence in his company??? Or nest egg for his future?

Can only be good I expect. Price slowly moving back up. Suggested good money from GGP going to be used on GME/AMC/Silver etc.

Elon Musk has bought some bitcoin, and published support for the platform!

S - good idea to realise some profit from your great performing shares as you mentioned the other day and increase the trading pot. A high % of my profits were sat in GGP and SNG, ( 2 biggest LTH shares, also Plus right now! ) so reduced profit / portfolio value when they fell back in price. Don't wanna sell GGP now at 23p especially after recent tops up a lot higher price!

And I would have had cash to trade with now!

M - No, not joined in the shenanigans, but interested in the silver squeeze as will help my silver / iron miner Alien Metals 9 UFO ).

S & M - YEs, still in PLUS, noticed just at 1474 but fallen back now, as M I am in mid 1400 positions after I sold 2 tranches at a loss . Could have traded the 1330 -1370 range but bought more GGP instead!
And GGP down again!

Seems like I am waiting on news / reports for good movement / profits, and run out of cash without adding more, which I don't plan to until next ISA year.

Ohh well, soon be Chistmas!

T - Cineworld were going to buy Cineplex in 2020 for silly amount - $2.1 billion. BUT due diligence and Covid, closures etc. stopped that. Cineworld were being sued by Cineplex for breach of letter of intent but not sure how that turned out... not been on Cine boards since I got burnt with my silly limit stop error!

S - Glad jab was OK, the Germans say Oxford/AZ jab no use for over 65's ... but what do they know !

T - thanks for the heads up on Swazer, is that on twitter? I sometimes watch the Zak Mir stuff, quite good. I understand what he's saying even if not how to set up the charts / candles etc.!

Annoying IG has now stopped buys on AMC and Gamestop. Now THATS market manipulation. At least RobinHood stopped as there was a problem with number of available shares and cash flow for settlements - not enough cash around to pay everyone with the time from sell to buy!!!!

I see the EU is falling apart, after the attempt to break the trade treaty ( the one they threatened UK in court if Boris did that! ) and then embarrassing reversal, Preventing any export of vaccines made in the EU and then back down, and Merkel attacking Ursula von der thingy, French supporting UK !!! and 3 other EU countries turning on the commission.
I give it 2-3 years and it will collapse, just hope no civil war!

Hmmm my post vanished, or maybe I didn't press reply! Or refreshed the screen, whatever!

Bored with plus so considered selling at a loss again ( that's several K down so far! ) and bought yet more GGP at 24p in the ISA, which is already in profit but not covering the loss on Plus! Hold for gold!!!

Was looking to buy a few literally 5 ( at $200 each! ) Gamestop but market wasn't open and premarket was already at $350+ so left it. $13.5 BILLION market cap now!!!

Bitcoin is risky VERY volatile, Bloomberg reckon it will be one of the fallouts from the Reddit share short for some reason.

S - you really need to up the target again, if you are making near 1000% of the weekly target. Wish I was!

Looks like you may get NCYT back cheaper? 893 now.

I'd suggest 2 measures for profit monitoring... over all p/f ( which of course can be affected by markets and shares you haven't traded in, so not really your performance issue ) and profit from the trades you DID make.
Which you do, but focus on the profit made from "work". May make it feel better.

My p/f is quit edown too, mainly on GGP falling, and PLUS and SNG still being down.

No trades, was contemplating another loss making sale of Plus to buy yet more cheap GGP !

PPS - EU have now approved Oxford -AZ vaccine. Still want to steal the UK's after the Belgium factory didn't perform well, and banning exports of any others made in EU - Pfizer for example!

Bit quiet here today, and nothing happening with my shares except GGP keep going down!
Conspiracy theories on the BB, and a Gamestonk attempt suggested for 1pm next Wednesday, buy £200 worth all at once!

More new vaccines announced as good / fantastic.

Retrace on Gamestop now, down to 300 .

Several platforms stopped buys on the short squeeze companies... Naughty.....
Love to see on Bloomberg that the snobby hedge funds are panicking and asking the regulator to investigate and stop the pig's ....

And AA profits were down 65%

American Airlines up 68% thought to be retail investors doing a short squeeze.
Shorts were 25%!!!
