WTP... yes, with that closing date one would think it wasn't for the current trial.
Shareholder communication was never the best and with Redmile now replacing us as the source of funding I expect we are very low on the priority list. Guess it comes down to what has to be reported to the market. If FPD isn't mandatory then Redmile may have been informed and the rest of us speculate.

...and still no FPD RNS .
Either is happened and SCLP have decided not to inform their shareholders of the event ... or it hasn't occurred. Flip a coin...which is it ??
I still feel despite the very valid points made by Bermuda ( and yes it states "recruiting" on the trial register) all the trial centres are/were not ready. My thoughts are : LD was being honest in the last Proactive interview when she stated Liverpool was ready to go in January and we all expected an imminent RNS for FPD. I then believe the further clinics were added which is an incredibly positive development.... but these sites were /have not been trained etc etc. Hence the recent job advert ??? and hence the "delay" ? When all the sites are ready SCLP will start? Although it may say " recruiting" the patients in the end still have to be offered/given the drug by the oncologist and if SCLP need to delay alittle then only when the timeline fits will Moditope be released.
If not.. then why no patient dosed, especially in Liverpool that was ready in January ? Is the selection criteria too restricted? Have SCLP dosed and not informed us ??
Just watching the sad news this am in reference to bowel cancer and reading the thread about the Professor dying from cancer and all the sad stories you read and come across in personal life...I so want this trial to start ASAP. After helping to fund SCLP through all their share issues I do feel its been a personal journey with friends and family dying fron cancer along the route. Yes, I am frustrated and impatient I guess waiting for the last few "ducks to line up" is the hardest wait when the end is potentially in sight.

I was just thinking FPD would give us an idea of timescales to potential results. Modi offers so much hope to so many patients .

I can see your logic around the 14th of May, but we were told the original Liverpool centre was ready in January...I'm super pleased that we now have 20+ trial centers added ( an incredible plus for the trial ) but why "delay" the Liverpool center. I will stick to my theory they are waiting until all centers are ready. Either way this must be very soon.

Or each trial centre is ready...Burble doesn't agree with this..but what can explain no FPD as yet ..

Slow decline until FPD, so let's hope FPD RNS boosts the SP. What will come first...FPD ...or Covidity update..

Burble, thanks for your reply and insight. Hopefully the Liverpool center will be out of the blocks soon as they were the original site. It will be so wonderful for patients if Moditope can extend their lives. As principal investigator I expect CH at Liverpool is almost as keen as we are.

CH doesn't work at Southampton anymore..and hasn't done so since 2020...

Despite all my worry and negative opinion re the ability of Scancell to conduct trials ...I have been proved to be VERY wrong. Covidity trial redesigned and Modi1 in multiable high quality cancer centers and not just Liverpool. Lesson learned. Impatience got the better of me.

Hasiba, I followed your calls on HUR which were spot on so your current confidence in SCLP is great to read. I know I must come across as a grumpy poster in relation to SCLP but after so many years I just get frustrated at times. Perhaps I'm too emotionally involved. Anyway, despite my annoyance re Modi1- SCLP has added to the value of the core business and as Hasiba states ...this is an excellent entry point for new shareholders.

C11, if Covidity proves in the clinic - and i believe all is going well despite the recruitment issue that's now fully resolved- then we won't or shouldn't be at 11 odd pence at the end of this year. With luck Covidity alone will support and drive the share price and we should get results in H1. Everything else , Scib, Modi , antibodies etc will simply be a bonus.

Hi C11, of course things can change, but the interview was very clear...within days. Also, the lead investigator is a keen advocate, linked with Sclp and is employed by the Liverpool hospital as an immunotherapy cancer specialist. Head and neck cancer patients must have been treated at the hospital since late December to date..So why has Modi1 not been taken into trial? Covid, although having an obvious impact on hospitals isn't stopping the wheels of the NHS from grinding on. Research brings in money for hospital trusts, attracts high calibre staff , enhances reputation etc etc ... its an area that is protected as much as possible. I don't buy the covid excuse. I do respect the ongoing research at SCLP, but once again, all we receive is a NDA with yet another pharma to add to the rest .
Hopefully Covidity will save the day in H1.

Well, he has done nothing as yet to get it into trial and he has a long history with SCLP !!

Chester and TF, I think it's very odd we are basically into April ,Q2, without an update re the Modi1 trial that was ready to go at the end of 2021 as per LDs Proactive interview. This has nothing to do with NHS capacity..all staff that were re deployed during the covid crisis have returned to their original areas. Between Scib, Covidity and Modi1 it looks like SCLP are brilliant at discovery and development but everything else from the elusive deals to trials ....well ..what can be said.
