A wild guess based on anecdotal evidence. So who do you think that QED are negotiating with HF14, Cepsa, Shell, ExxonMobil. Or nobody at all.

I'm having difficulty in thinking that QED are negotiating with Shell at this stage of the validation of BioMsar and Msar. I really don't think they would be interested until the trial is successful and commercial discussions concluded and roll out begins. That might coincide with the completion of Shell's new Biofuel refinery set for start up about 2025. And hence Shell could come onboard then.

However Cepsa could be an interested party,hence maybe why JM is attending the conference in July with Cepsa as the platinum sponsor.

Cepsa are investing heavily in Biofuels, producing SAF and renewable diesel as we all know produces our much needed glycerine. Cepsa already produces around 25,000 tonnes of glycerine from their existing biofuels production and with this new drive for biofuels, the glycerine output will be much increased.

A wild guess theory to be sure as are all the rest we've come up with. But I think Cepsa is the better bet at this moment in time and is also good for Cepsa as the new rules coming in for the Mediterranean come into effect so our product would be just the ticket.

Once up and running, Vertoro and Shell would be perfect for those European tax incentives for Biofuel production that were mentioned, also the green corridor between Rotterdam and China would be a good reason as well.

So maybe Cepsa for the trial and Mediterranean supply for MSC and eventually Shell/ Vertoro for the Rotterdam/ China green corridor and transatlantic voyages.

Like I said a wild theory, but I got to look for some kind of positive amongst this daily grind of waiting.

Morocco is the simplest of all the projects we have and the time its taken to get to the point of a started but failed second trial is just appalling.. There doesn't seem to be any concern or urgency and I still believe what I believe with regards to the trial.

Which really begs the question can you believe the likes of the Americas can or will ever go ahead.

Utah is months away and if taken to court even longer.

So it's down to MSC to drag this across the line, but not before we have to stump up again.

The frustrating thing about Mexico, is despite all the encouragement by Redliner, the submission of the techno ecin9mic report and more importantly engagement with the Head of Refinery operations for Pemex, we are no farther along that we are aware of.

Even though I mentioned it Fyoz. I hold QED in enough regard, despite the woeful performance so far, not to engage in such practices. No doubt it is some official who is getting some kind of kick back to keep the status quo.

Pretty sure recalling that CFE the Mexican state electricity provider were keen on trialling Msar. However its all down to brown envelope diplomacy of Pemex.

After a two-year build period, MSC Cruises and Chantiers de l’Atlantique celebrated the official handing over of the newest cruise ship in MSC’s fleet, MSC Euribia, today, May 31.

So in the time its taken us to come up with an agreement with MSC and the ongoing time its taking to get somebody to produce the fuel. MSC have had a cruise liner built to be powered by bioLNG and will have its maiden voyage to its naming ceremony soon.

I think people are niave to believe this intended timeline. I still have doubts about the trial actually going ahead, but if it is to, you can guarantee it will be about August after a nice long stay in Customs and fitting in with the clients production schedule. Then the added time of contract negotiations.

I always thought it would be a good tie up with Neste or Preem to develop a project together. Both these are leading experts in Pyrolysis oil/ Tall oil from Biomass

Don't deny the development with Vertoro is exciting as well to be sure.

But as always lots of first movers going on around us, while we test, explore, the potential of fuel which is viewed as the holy grail but is really turning into just another option amongst a myriad of options.

I won't be holding my breadth. Diasappointment is baked into to QED guaranteed.

I'm holding what I have and won't be adding until or if the milestones I have put in place are met.

A) A completed Morccoco trial and contract negotiations

B) MSC fuel production resolved and clear timeline for trial.

Forget Utah until/if the dispute it resolved

Completely forget Americas and Carribean refinery rubbish.

It's probably shipping that's going to make QED,.Industrial, upstream/ downstream.....I don't think are going to figure much.

Why would an MMU be sold at this point, when the licences are in dispute by Hoodoo mining. And we have no idea how long that could drag on. So forget Utah gor a while.

Then Morocco, can the replacement part clear customs quickly and us slot into the production schedule easily or are we at the back of the queue again.

As for MSC fuel production, how long is a piece of string.

All well and good be optimistic, plenty of that spread out over the past. Never come to fruition in actuality yet , has it.

The Morocco fuel was apparently made in Denmark with QED's new upgraded MMU after a few months delay of getting some chips to make it work.

Thought you'd be used to the saga dragging on and on in typical QED style by now jackg.

Upto now its all been a nice academic exercise for Chemists and Chemical Engineers to play and tinker and we pay for the privilege of doing so.
