Aiming to build a fertiliser plant in less time than its taking to burn 60 tonnes of fuel.....I can buy that.

Once again I point out, all last year that these projects were sold to us as on the verge of starting and being completed by end of last year. Now we are in May and nothing has started that we are aware of.

At what point do we stop accepting this crap and being sycophantic for the appalling performance because we are all married to this share and Jason Miles knows it.

Bottom line Morocco isnt only about getting a contract, its about credibility and reputation, they have been banging on for years about getting things across the line and haven't come close. So to say that after 5 months in customs, everything is on site waiting to go, 2 months after the fuel was released and now we have to slot into a production campaign, erodes credibility and reputation.

The market doesn't believe them and a lot of LTH's are feeling the same way.

So looking at OCP 2022 annual report, they spent 966 million Moroccan dirhams on Fuel oil, up 263 million dollars. Converting that to US dollars that's 96 million dollars and using a very Conservative 350 dollars per barrel for Industrial fuel oil no 6 we get around 275,000 barrels of fuel oil.

So if they are still using it, and they paid a hell of a lot more for it, why the hell are they not rushing to get this damned trial started and completed. Unless their current fuel suppliers are putting on the squeeze or they are concerned about consistent fuel supply.

Either way this is dragging on way to long for a client that is so keen according to JM.

Acknowledgement of the trial having taken place is a big step forward in the right direction. However unless they are only going to reveal anything after contract negotiations which as you say will take months just erodes in confidence again in what comes out of QED.

I've been saying that since beginning of year Wonga. Patently obvious at the AGM. Yet they keep stringing it out, making us believe its going to happen. It aint

Inferior or not Willswag those shipping companies will use it, if its good for their needs and purposes. You only have to look at the Msar/ scrubber option versus VLSFO situation and its toxicity and its damage to engines without careful attention to lubricity fluids and see which fuel won out in that contest.

The fact remains all the ducks have lined up for us, Economics, Environmental, wide spread between HFO and distillate, Diesel crisis......and Still Nothing. So start asking why are people whether it be Morocco or the Refiners not biting our hands off to rake in the coin using MSAR/BioMsar.

Jason Miles time and again layers his patter to make us believe we are just about to make the breakthrough and yet 6 months, a year later boots are still are on ground snd everybody is still busy working very, very hard.

Just don't buy the BS anymore.

And while we are all hypothesising about whats going to happen or possibly happen, other shipping firms are just getting on with actually trialling inferior products such as blends using VLSFO and MGO while we still flounder around hoping somebody is kind enough to produce our wonder fuel.

Its going to be late Q4 at least before the trial MAY start and more than likely Q1 2024. As for Morocco.....well you decide.

So how long is the trial on MSC Leandra using this kit possibly take. 3 months, 6 months. Once again this kicks the can down the road again.

I think Jason Miles better wake up and smell the damned coffee. Shareholders are sick and tired of getting fobbed off, quarter after quarter with the damned potential of this company and absolutely SFA ever happens.

Reporting on the smallest details thinking if we throw the dog a bone they'll be quiet.

Put up or shut up. Because this whole story has now become very very boring and tedious.

For me I think the client has changed its mind, and QED hope they can still complete the trial in the alloted time before the agreement runs out.

Let's face it, if the client was so keen to trial MSAR it would have been done and dusted by now.

It beggars belief that both fuels and equipment have been on site since at least the beginning of March and we are still waiting for our client who is apparently onside and very eager to trial Msar to actually start the damned trial.

It just doesn't stack up and that is why I believe what I believe.

6-8;months to negotiate a new contract with the industrial team. 6hen a couple of months down time because of a chip that wasn't ordered for the MMU in Denmark. 5 months in Customs for the fuel. And 2 months that the fuel has been sat on site.

I still say Morcco will not take place. The agreement runs out end if next month.

Well Maersk and CGM seem to be in a different frame of mind to you Nejc. And white papers or not they are steaming ahead with the production of Methanol, green or not.

And by sitting back I mean, getting the Fuel producers to ask how high they should jump for MSC with regards Msar/BioMsar production, just like Maersk are doing with Methanol.

Here's the thing I'm not getting. Talking a few months back a few were saying that Methanol would take years to scale up and that uptake would be limited.

But here again just like VLSFO Maersk says jump and producers say how high.

Ships are being built and take up is now with other shipping companies other than Maersk.

Production facilities are being built, to produce Methanol.

And yet what exactly are MSC doing to help our cause for BioMsar. It seems the onus is totally on QED which is solely dependent upon private investors to keep the company afloat to then resume the glacial pace of getting this trial started.

Why are MSC not as proactive as Maersk in getting BioMsar/ glycerine initiated so that we can then advance Crude Sugar Oil Msar at a more rapid pace which only benefits MSC in the long run.

It's in MSC's best interests to see QED to succeed and not just sit idled back taking their own sweet time to see if it succeeds or not.

Let's face facts,there isn't enough glycerine for a roll out across the fleet. BioMsar should be used on those green corridors where say 50 ships have a mix of fuels that the customer can pick from. For a fleet wide roll out we are going to have to wait for Crude Sugar oil Msar.

The bulk of everyday operations should be shouldered by standard Msar using a scrubber. Far more cost effective and environmentally friendly than Vlsfo.

Makes sense to me.

No offence Willswag, but that does not send a great message to any refiner to produce our fuel. It creates ambiguity and uncertainty.
