If Morocco fails again, then the reputation of QED will be trashed, as this is the simplest of the projects and you can see why MSC tripartite agreement is taking so damned long.

I truly wish I'd never heard of Quadrise sometimes.

For the amount of project management and test, test, testing they always seemed to bang on about, this is properly amateurish..Any prospective clients will now be seriously questioning if these back shed engineers are capable of delivering complex projects , if they can't deliver the simplest of of projects such as a simple burn.

It's a stark reality we face. Do we let all that work that has been achieved so far to get flushed down the drain. Do we cut off our noses so to speak.

In Haggisworld MSC only have to click their fingers and fuel suppliers run.run to produce that fuel. Ex ept in the case of Msar/Biomsar.

The delicious irony, that Maersk have had this ship built and commissioned ready to go, in the time MSC and QED have done nothing but talk and investigate the possibilities. We still have the HAZOP to perform and however long ( if it happens at all) to get a fuel producer on board, then get an MMU installed.

I think confidence and trust are so low in the abilities of the BOD that a lot will not contribute at all, regardless of what they say. Those who do are doing so just on the off chance they MAY get something across the line.

Either way, what JM says and what actually happens has always been at odds..

There has to be a fundamental problem that hasn't been solved.

It's all well and good planning to support the company with regard funding. Rightly so.

But the just as important question is why are we no further along in the MSC trial with regards to the tripartite agreement from 8 months ago in the AGM.

If its just a case of all parties concerned needing QED to be solvent, fine.

If its just waiting for the HAZOP to be completed and no problems found, fine.

But at least tell us this. I wouldn't consider this price sensitive information.

We are nearly a year on from signing the framework agreement and we still haven't sorted the fuel supply.

It seems to me that the chicken & egg problem which was said to be addressed, is anything but addressed.

Had time to stew all day and been bubbling at work, ready to explode. Thought about nothing else all day, so work got put on the back burner.

On the forum a while ago an poll was taken on who would subscribe to a fund raise....to which I voted no I wouldn't.

But after thinking all day, I am going to subscribe to my basic entitlement. We've come this far and while some may be adamant about not putting more money in, we all want QED to succeed despite the gross incompetence of the Board. So this is the very last time I will be putting money in.

But and I stress this, we need to give the board both barrels on Wednesday. To just give them a free ride isn't on the cards as far as I'm concerned. They need to be told in no uncertain terms how sick to death we are of this continual circle of crap.

Especially about the tripartite agreement. We need to know why the refiner is so reluctant to commit and what is really being done to expedite this.

If Preem is in the running for a collaboration with QED ( not necessarily LONO supplier for say Pyrolysis oil/ Tall oil ) in the future then it has the ability to bunker the Leandra in exactly the same way Cepsa can, with a bunker barge.

So again a good future addition to the Crude sugar oil, Pyrolysis/ Lignin net zero solution.

Either way, this HAZOP needs to be completed soon, in order for the time scale of trial starting in Q4 to be on track. Sadly I think this has already slipped to Q1 24.
